About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(08/19/2013) I’ve never seen a front end like that. Anyone else?
“THIS JEEP WAS SHOWN AT THE 1982 WORLD’S FAIR IN KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE. THIS JEEP IS GOOD FOR SHOW AND DRIVING. INTERIOR IS ALL BLACK AND THE SEATS HAVE BEEN RECOVERED WITH BLACK VINYL. IT HAS A NEW BLACK CONVERTIBLE SOFT TOP.
THIS IS A ONE-OF-A-KIND JEEP WILD CAT ALL STAINLESS STEEL. IT IS AN EYE CATCHER–GREAT TO DRIVE IN PARADES–TO TAKE TO SHOWS. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING DIFFERENT, THIS IS THE VEHICLE TO BUY.”
The name on the side of the jeep, Methow Valley, refers to an area on the east side of the Cascade Mountains along Highway 20. It’s a pretty area.
“1953 Willy’s Jeep
Amazing Condition GM Built 327 with aluminum head intake, T-10 4 speed, Headers, 2 gas tanks.
Best Of EVERYTHING!!
Over $20,000 In Running Gear Alone”
This has some interesting details, including the hood latches.
“You will never see a Willys like this again. This jeep is amazing. 454 big block with world heads (sounds way nasty) and has a 400 turbo automatic with quick shifter on the floor with a twin stick transfer case. Has full top to with doors. Also has hidden stereo with remote in tough lock box between seats with killer fosgate speakers below seats This Jeep might have 200 miles on it. I have a stack of receipts over 15k of parts with no labor. Hundreds of hours of labor. The quality of this jeep belongs in a car show. $15,800 If you see this rig in person you will buy it! If you are serious call if not don’t waste my time or yours.”

“Frame off restored Willys CJ-3B Jeep. Like new (or better) inside, out, and underneath. Buick V6 with 3 speed manual trans. Great running, looking, and driving flat fender Jeep.”
“For sale 1947 Willys jeep cj2a with a fiberglass body…. I restored this jeep 6 years ago and I has about 2000 miles since then… The original 134 flat head engine was rebuilt .040 over and hardened valve seats were installed. the frame was sandblasted/ painted and everything was gone through. It is 12 volt with an alternator, the gauges were upgraded as were the bucket seats, and it has a rear mounted stainless fuel tank. It does have turn signals and I do have the wiper motors which are not installed”
(07/19/2012) The dash is certainly unusual. I guess it is good this wasn’t a Ford GPW, or the gauges would have been arranged in an F.
“’43 Willys Jeep with Chevy 350, SM420 granny low tranny, Spring over on 35’s, ’75 CJ5 frame and axles. This thing really turns heads and is a blast to drive around. Cash only.”

Nothing says I love you like an “Old Willys”. 1947 CJ2A, 1971 – 350 Chevy motor, Jeep running gear is 3 speed transmission with overdrive and high/low range in the transfer case. Black, mustang high back bucket seats, tilt wheel, power steering, great heater, windshield wipers, roll cage, quality top in great condition, almost new 10.50×31.50 radials on slotted mags, dual shocks on front, light bar and more. (03/21/2013) This must have gone through 1980s modification. Those mustang rear lights were popular. Nice rims.

“This willys jeep has an all alumium body which will never rust or corrod and since it is made out of alumium it is a lite ride. The body is on an s-10 sand blasted frame with a 96′ wheelbase. It is 2 wheel drive with a 305ci v-8 in it, it has a 30 over Big cam with a 700 R4 trany behind it. It has 13,500 miles on the engine and tranny, was never used for drag racing. It gets around 20 miles per gallon on the highway.”
