This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “49 willies jeep, was used as a sand truck but set up for a rat rod as well. Currently has Pontiac 400 and turbo 400 trans, Ford 9inch rear end with spool and 5.14 gears. Will come with Chrysler 440 and tf 727 trans with manual valve body. Pontiac engine and trans will be removed unless you want to pay 2500 more for that. Full fiberglass body.”

(06/01/2020) This is a custom build with a fiberglass body. I assume it is registered as a 1953 jeep, hence the year.

The wider rim around the back suggest this is a later Bobcat fiberglass body.

“1946 Willys Jeep CJ-2A around 1000 miles on rebuilt engine, Fiberglass body, stainless steel CJ-3a windshield, Full roll cage best top seats,full soft top with side windows, and Best top center console. Painted the frame and body at that time as well. 4000lb winch. Spare tire carrier. New 700×16 tires. New carb and front end parts last summer. I don’t use it enough to keep. Fun Jeep.”
I don’t recognize the manufacturer, but it looks like a good price on a solid tub.

“Selling my “mismatch” jeep. It’s a fiberglass cj3b tub sitting on a cj3a frame. The frame is real nice condition and the tub is rust free! Both fenders are good condition. Hood/grill not perfect but definitely usable. No engine/trans. Asking $1200 or best offer.
This has a fiberglass tub and a rear gas tank with the filler in the middle of the back.

“Selling my 48 Willys jeep. It is an older restoration with fiberglass tub. Runs great and everything works. All gauges function and has an electric fuel pump to keep it running smooth. Fun toy to go anywhere this summer. Ride it like a sXs with the ability to go down any road. Only flaw is cracks in the glass.”

“Good fiberglass CJ5 Jeep tub and hood. Comes with steel steps in photo. Great for a crawler project light weight and rust proof. New CJ tubs sell for close to 4000 between body and nose.”

“This is a fiber glass jeep with a Dodge 360 motor automatic with Dana 300 has paddle tires but not in great shape but nice ultra lightweight wheels. Motor has a electric water pump and a summit racing starter. All that it needs is a radiator and fuel lines hooked up asking”
