Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1945 cj3 Jeep for sale, Odd Fire Pontiac V6 with a granny low 4 speed trans with a warn overdrive set up. 3/4 ton dodge front axle, front and rear locking hubs, full floating rear axles, rear detroit locker, front posi, frame is beefed up, new gas tank, 9000 pound warn wench. the jeep body is fiberglass. new master and clutch cyl. rebuilt carb. runs and drive good, does great off road and rock climbing. tires need to be replaced and seats need to be covered some wiring needs some attention. all in all a great fun jeep.”

“1946 Willys CJ -2a, runs and drives, new tires, was registered and inspected last summer and driven around town. 3 speed w/ 4wd hi lo. Fiberglass tub, original nose and fenders. Runs very well. Good shape overall. Not perfect, but a fun little rig or project. Extra parts included. ”

“I have lost the ability to finish my Jeep Project. It has a custom frame, that is significantly stronger than the the factory original. The jeep comes with the following:
– Brand New In Box Suspension Kit (cost $600)
– Fiberglass Flat Fender Tub with Hood, fenders and tailgate
– Factory Dana 27 Front with 5.38:1 gears
– Factory Dana 44 Rear with 5.38:1 gears
– T-90 transmission with Dana 18 T-case
– Novak Adapter for T-90 to Ford 2.3L engine
– Ford 2.3L fuel injected 8 plug engine
– 7 wheels
The jeep is currently disassembled, but these parts are worth more than the asking price. Text or email if interested. Asking $1100 obo.”
This ran when parked, but no longer has a battery (or at least a good battery), so in its present state it doesn’t not run and drive (it might with a battery). The body is fiberglass.

Call text emailI just brought home last night so I’ll clean up and get more pics later but this gives you a idea. It has rear cooler with fan and water pump, and all your basic common set ups for a vehicle like this. I was hoping it was more road ready but the starter is dragging bad and heating up so I need to put one in. The breaks need juiced and bled from sitting. The carb seams stuck but I have only just started messing with it. It’s sat for years but my buddy assured me it was running 6 months ago. So with all that said if it’s of interest to you make a offer I have a yard full of projects I’d rather turn it and burn it!!!!!”

New 35″ boggers on old school slotted mags. Heavy duty tie rods, square tubed crawler driveline, Lockers front and rear, Power Steering, Headers, new aluminum radiator and much more. This jeep has been sitting for about 4 years and will need some work. Currently not running. Call for details. Can deliver locally. $4,100 Trailer not included”

(06/29/2016) I wonder if this has the Pontiac 195 in it. Not an easy engine to find. Has a fiberglass body.
