Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (03/20/2012) “Restored Willys, has a Dana 30 front axle, Amc20 Rear axle, Dana 20 Twin Stick Transfer case, 1985 Chevy 350 motor, Turbo Hydramatic Transmission – Both transmission and motor were recently rebuilt and have approximately 10,000 miles on them. Has a Fiberglass body ” CJ2A”. Suspension is all custom and has a free floating rear end. Brand new rims and tires “Cooper Discoverer STT 35×12.5R15Lt”. New soft top with quick remove doors and top. Has roll cage and five point harness racing seats. Its has been well taken care of. Its road legal with working lights all round. Driven mostly on road and two tracks NO mud”

The price is right. I don’t know who made these or whether new ones are still available.
“I have an all fiberglass Jeep racing body up for sale. Super light fiberglass with wooden braces molded in. measures 56 1/2″ wide, 133″ long, 25 tall. the engine bay/hood is 44″ long. the hood scoop is not factory and needs patchwork done around the edge of it. other than that it isnt cracked or anything anythere that i can see. would like it to be picked up but i am wiling to deliver from baldwin, Wi area to Maplewood, MN any weekday”

This is the first Parkette body I’ve seen unattached in 4 1/2 years of looking. The price is great. If I only had the space ….

then I would recommend patching every hole and then start from there.
