Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Very clean, Sheaded, New 4 Cyl. Gas Motor. Well maintained, fold down windshield, Cab, doors, spare tire, tow bar, burns NO oil. Has very low crawling gears. 35,000 mils, 2000 on new motor. no emails,”

“Vintage 1948 Willys Overland Jeep, model CJ-3A, with Sears half cab body and ISAR hydraulic pump system for snow plow (plow is not included).
CONDITION: Drive train, consisting of engine, transmission and transfer cases, is in good condition with no known problems. Non-directional tread tires and tubes are excellent. Steering box, brakes, shock absorbers, instrument gauges, body and seats all need restoration. New gas tank was installed about two years ago.
This jeep is an excellent candidate for restoration back to original conditon or, as a work vehicle on a farm or private property. Included are parts book (numbers and descriptions), mechanic’s manual and parts catalog. All, reasonable, Best Price offers considered.”
It was running 30 year ago. It has been stored a while. It might be a good restoration project. This appears to have a Worman half cab.

“its a cj2a 1946 jeep willy’s custom on a 1971 comando frame the tranny is a turbo 400, transfercase is a model 120,rear axel is a 44 with true track 488 gears front and rear , model 27 front axel with 4 joints in axels ,2x 11 breaks , 6,000 lb. wench , 225 cubic inch buik odd fire engine , 600 cf carb (4barrel ) ,, manifold is a ofenhouser duel plain , new air conditioner but needs dryer for it never even had freon in it, marian altenater shielded by wire mesh , electric fuel pump at fuel tank and filter, rear mai leaf is 5′ long and front is 4′ long , tires are 35 x 12.50 x 10 good condition 5 lug.
i bought this off my dad who buld it and it does need the tranny put in he was in the middle of building it when he had a heart attack and couldnt finish it.
it is a monster for off roading .”

“Half Cab Willys Jeep top with doors. Designed for a CJ3A but came off of a 1952 M38 so it will fit your military jeep. I believe it will fit a CJ2A also, but I’m not sure. If your interested in early jeeps you will know what if will fit. All glass in in-tact, no cracks and clear. Rough in certain spots some dents and cracks, nothing a welder and some elbow grease can’t remedy. $200 ”
