Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Factory metal cab and 6 1/2 ft plow. 27,000 original miles. The Jeep runs great, but rough and rusty around the edges. Used it the last big snow storm, works great and good for those hard to get into places because its small. I have too many vehicles and already have a plow truck, so I cant justify keeping the Jeep. ”

(08/10/2010) This isn’t running at the moment, but this looks in good shape.
“I have owned this jeep for about 12 years when i got it the motor was out and the jeep was taken apart i had the motor all redone and put it back it i put all new shocks on it and the body is in pretty good shape theres a little surface rust but know major rust. It has been sitting in the barn for about 5 years now its not running at this time but im sure it wouldnt take much to get it to run i just have to many projects and not enough time to mess with it thats why im only asking $2,200 o.b.o.”

I *think* the body is rough, but I can’t really tell for sure from these pics. It appears this is pretty stock. It includes a plow.

This stock looking CJ-5 with a great half cab has some cool hubcaps and some early formula desert dogs. This might just be the last jeep you’ll see with both hubcaps & desert dogs. This appears to have the early CJ-5 reversed front springs, too. I like it.
“Very solid steel cab on rough body. Plow is Full Hydraulic Up-Down and Left-Right from Inside Cab and is 6 1/2 ft. wide. Engine is 232 straight six cylinder, three speed on floor. I’m not sure I’d say the body is in “great shape”.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $700.
This looks like a great price. It’s got a nice, old Meyere half top. The body appears solid.
