Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. /Listed as a Meyers hardtop, this is actually a Koenig 555 Super Half Cab for the CJ-5.
“I got this Meyers half cab hard top for my ‘67 Jeep CJ5, but I am coming to the realization I will probably never get it cleaned up and on my Jeep. All glass is intact. Driver door is missing the hand crank. Would look great on a CJ6 as well. These are getting harder and harder to find for these old Jeeps. The last photo is what it would look like assembled. Located near the border of Riverton/Herriman, UT approx. 14000 South and 5200 West. Asking what I paid $500, but will consider offers.”
This might be worth a look depending on what “TLC” is needed. It sound like it might not be running. It has some early Free-Lock hubs.

This is one of the nicest looking 2L’s that I’ve seen. Given it’s proximity to Spokane, it’s highly likely it’s a 2L out of that area.

“1947 Willys Jeep converted to pick-up. Archive photos. Original engine swapped out for older Ford Ranger engine, charging system converted from 6 volt to 12 volt. Starts, runs, needs some brake work. Original engine included in price. Barn stored in winter. Looking for younger, more mechanically inclined owner!”
Seems there’s value in this stock 2A. It includes a Koenig(?) half cab and a bed extender.

“1947 Willy’s jeep! It has the original drivetrain in it. Flathead 4 cylinder with a manual transmission and t-case. It ran great until it spun a main bearing last spring so it doesn’t run now and I don’t have the time to get it there at the moment. I don’t need to sell it but would rather have someone fix it then it just sit. It comes with an extra hood, grill, bed extension, half cab, transfer case, one spare wheel, and some other parts like a front bumper.
I’m asking $3,000 and have a clean clear title in hand.”
Tom spotted this good find. It runs, has a PTO, an early CJ-5 Speedometer, and a Sears-branded half-cab.

“I have a 1955 willys CJ5 farm jeep forsale, it runs good,4×4 works good,it has a 3 speed trans, twin stick transfer the frame is in great shape the body has been patched it has factory f134 hurricane 4 cylinder, it also has working pto, rear hitch and a tow bar, the top is in decent shape,tailgate works the windshield wiper works its far from perfect but for its age fires right up drives like a jeep 3000 obo call”

“Half cab steel top and doors for cj2a flat fender Willys jeep. Came with a project I recently picked up but don’t think I’ll be using them. Believe to be Meyer brand based on feedback and other pictures, but no tags. In great shape with no structural rust and all windows intact, top has kind of padded vinyl wrap. Doors have pretty clever way of setting the window height with little handle and latches. Located in NW Iowa.”
This 2A may have a Beck half cab.

“Vintage vehicles in estate in person bid auction- March 30, Boonsboro MD. 1948 Willys jeep, 74 Jeep pickup, 76 Mazda, 1953 Chevy Belair, 1954 Chevy sedan delivery van, 1999 Plymouth minivan. Have titles in hand or in process. The weird wording of this title listing is the only way the form will let me list multiple vehicles!”
This jeep has an unusual paint scheme. It also has a Meyer half cab and probably some Allstate hubs, but I can’t tell for sure.
