Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Offered here is a Willys civilian jeep that hasn`t run in years and is good for parts or can be fixed up with some work. The engine, transmission, transfer case, front and rear drive shafts, and front differential are all in tact. The radiator is missing.The cab is a Willys Overland aluminum cab. Sorry that the pixs show some trash on the hood before I swept it off. Clear title can be procured for extra cost if jeep is to be restored and title is needed.”

“For sale: M38 Arctic hard top for Willys jeep. Was on a ’42 MB, but should fit all MBs, GPWs, M38s, CJ2As, 3As, and maybe 3Bs??
All complete, with doors too.
Back glass and one side glass is cracked but intact. Fairly good shape and getting tougher to find! Only selling because I got a soft top. Asking $450 call or text Justin.”

The most valuable part might just be that aluminum blue star hard top.

“1963 Willys CJ5 Jeep
It has the rare Tuxedo Park package and the original Indian Ceramic paint with removable Meyers Hard top.
It has the mighty Hurricane 4 cylinder motor.
I purchased it from the original owner (a rancher in Gunnison) and she told me she was the only person who ever drove it.
It has less than 28,000 original miles and it runs great.
Everything works- heater, wipers, lights, gauges, has new tires.
The frame, body and suspension are solid as a rock.
Transmission and the 4 wheel drive transfer case work just right and it has Warn locking hubs.
This is a rare find that has not been messed up or molested.
I purchased it just to have a project to work on.
I cleaned it up and have done all the maintenance it needed with new hoses, fluids, tune up, brake lines, tires etc.
I am ready to move on to the next project so this one needs a new home.
Original Owner’s Manual and Service Manual and it even has the original Jack!
Tow bar and lights are included.
It has never been re-painted but a lot of value is now in the “rust-o-rod” look.
You can restore a car many times but they are only Original once.

“1946 CJ 2-A Willys in great condition with a Co. title . This jeep has the original flat head 4 cylinder engine, three speed transmission and running gear. It has a Keonig hard top , a rare optional factory driver side heater, a engine heater, a tow bar, new bench seat upholstery , a 20 gallon gas tank. Two Army non directional spare tires on heavy duty mounts It has a new master brake cylinder, new coil , plugs , wires , etc.
It was running but now possibly needs a new timing chain to get her running again .
Finish her up and have a great original jeep! ”
Runs, but needs work.
“1947 Willys jeep for sale. Original motor that runs good. Can be driven but need some work yet. It is a good start for some one wanting to restore a Jeep. Tires are not good, but I have tubes in them so they hold air. I have some extra parts that go with it. I have a clear title for it. The best way to contact me is text. I do not have to sell it so Don’t waste my time with a low ball offer. Some trades like a old Chevy pickup or car may be considered, would have to be something I like a lot.”
It’s got a small amount of rust, but might be worth a look at that price.
