Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1948 cj2a Willy’s jeep w aluminum top. Mostly original. No spark cause I broke distributor cap. And needs new battery. Should run tho. I’m second owner. Title in my name and Oregon 1948 collectors plates so no need for tags. Alot of surface rust but not all thru.”
I had this post completed, but that was before I realized this may have a $16k price tag (I’m unsure on the exact price). Anyway, I thought the rear bumper was unusual. This has a Kelly hardtop.

“What you are looking at is an original Willys Jeep hard top. The top is in very good shape and complete minus the back glass. The windows roll up and down and the latches work great. I will have it off the Jeep today or tomorrow. This will fit the CJ2A Willys or the CJ3A, M38, MB or Ford GPW if you use a CJ2A windshield.”

“1947 CJ2A with 289 4 speed trans. Engine runs and things shift like they are supposed to. With cab, seats are not original nor are they bolted down clean title not currently licensed. OBO I can send specific pictures if needed.”
