This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: Price dropped to $7000.
Ranger Bob suggests this could have been a 1963 that could have been on the production line when things switched the 1964 model (see comments).
Though listed as a 1964, I imagine it is earlier (maybe 1963) given the Willys stampings. It could use some body work and paint. Still, it’s hard to find a 1960’s 3B for sale.

“Putting my 1964 Willys CJ3B up for sale. I’ve had a lot of work done to it in the last few weeks as you can see from the photos. These are not getting easier to find and to have one that has a hardtop and is in good condition with all original drivetrain and low miles is nearly impossible, especially on the east coast. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
The engine is from Kaiser-Frazer, so isn’t original to the jeep. I believe the disassembled photos are the latest ones.
“”46″ Jeep CJ2A , 1st year available to for civilian purchase. All original parts to re- assemble. Was going to do a frame off restoration but am going a different way. Comes with a top, doors, and plow. Has the original supersonic 4 cylinder motor. Currently sitting in my garage out of the weather. Would be a good restoration or an opportunity to add an SMC motor to make an off road vehicle. Do not have a title so I would supply a bill of sale to acquire one.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $525.
Seller believes this was a CJ-5 hardtop at one point, but I don’t see any mods that would indicate that.
“I have a Willy’s jeep hardtop for sale. The top bolts to any flat fender jeep with a MB/GPW windshield frame. (Excluding CJ 3B) The top started off as a early aluminum CJ5 top. it has been highly modified to fit the early Jeeps.”

(03/23/2020) The rims appear to have little paddles added to them (stock?)?

It has a vintage Warren electric winch mounted to a heavy duty bumper, oversize tires on deep dish rims and an after market removable cab. It has a complete, all new brake system, new aluminum radiator, all new wiring harness and lots of extra parts including a brand new gas tank and all new gauges. If you’re looking for a project this is the Jeep for you.”

This has a rare KEMCO branded hardtop.
“CJ2a willys jeep. This is a project jeep. it has a V8 chevy swapped into it. has rust, but overall not to bad for the year. what you see is what you get. i haven’t tried to get it started yet. just thought i would post it before i do any work on it.”

(03/17/2020) This could be a good price. It has a rear PTO gearbox and a Deluxe Sears top.
“1946 Willys Jeep. First year of the Civilian Jeep. Runs great, drives great. Motor, transmission, transfer case, differentials, brakes all recently rebuilt. New leaf springs with small lift, good tires, recent paint. Has the rare Power-Take-Off option. Aluminum top in great condition. Clear title and current Oklahoma tag. Ready for work or recreation”
