Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8900.
“I have owned this JEEP for over 20 years and it has never given me trouble and has always done what is asked of it. Traveling at highway speeds is no problem and it crawls fantastically well. Everything works on this very capable trail rig.
For those not familiar with a CJ-6, this is basically a ’62 CJ-5 that has been stretched 20″ between the door and the rear wheel arch at the factory. This longer wheel base makes the 6 more stable, and have a larger interior capacity than the 5. I am 6’3” and have no problem with legroom in this JEEP.

(03/21/2015) The motor needs work.
“Willys jeep. 2 wheel drive. Six cylinder engine. Three speed transmission. Black exterior/red interior. New tires. Some one spent a lot of time and money on this jeep. The motor runs okay but smokes. Possibly needs valve seals. Jeep sat for a long time after it was redone.”
