Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Here’s a 1957 fire truck from Norway that is still in great shape. This jeep is located in the far north of Norway.

Veteran/brannbil fra 1957 selges pga plassmangel. Flott bil og samleobjekt for den interesserte. I 2011 ble den kjørt fra Sarpsborg til Hammerfest uten et feilslag, Har desverre ikke tatt bilder innvendig men di kommer om noen dager det er tank i bilen tror det er plast nyere rør og kuleventiler følger med en bensindrevet pumpe til å kjøre trykk fra tanken, det er slangetrommel i bilen og to sitteplasser helt bak samt hjelm fra den tiden…har også satt inn 3 brannslukkere fra 60/70 tallet av typen Nu Swift bak i bilen, det er også gammeltypen hampslanger både 2 1/2 ” og 1 1/2″ med nord kupplinger.
Har tatt bilder under bilen og det er ikke rust, startet forøvrig på første forsøk etter å ha stått ute sin første vinter. Har redusert prisen dersom hurtig avgjørelse på salg. Det er en 6 sylindra motor Flatsix Hurricane”

“1946 Willy’s jeep, original flat-head four cylinder engine. 3-speed. Military style rims and new military tires. Garage kept, body in good shape, aftermarket top, spare rim. Sold-as-is, reply to email with questions.”
The wagon looks good, though the bumpers are unusual.

“I have a mostly restored 1959 CJ5 for sale. I got to 95 percent complete with a total rebuild and was transferred overseas. I bought it as a 1963 model in 2003, but research on the matching ID tag, block, and frame serial numbers puts it in October of 1959. This Willys is mostly original with some upgrades, with no rust. F134 engine plus T90 transmission, stock front and rear drives – all rebuilt. The carburetor is a Solex (original rebuilt Carter YF included). Brakes were not completed and this is the primary reason that it is not roadworthy. Currently it is in storage in Huntsville, Alabama with no title or tags. I do not currently live near this Jeep so I will have to arrange travel for a showing.”
