About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Looking for trade offers only really, not even sure I want to let it go. Just bored and looking for the next thing to tinker on since I don’t have room to store them.
1947 steel tub Willys CJ2a stretched about a foot and sitting on a 1979 CJ5 chassis. YJ springs, fresh built 258 (built by Steve Damon) oil catch can, crane cam/lifters, heavy crankshaft (early model with 7 counterweights great for low rpm no-stall) Keith black pistons, head and block surfaced, T18 4 speed with 6.32:1 low gear, D20 transfer case, Ford 9″ rear end & D30 front (with lockers) 3:54 gears, 35×15 tires, custom oak dash/center console with all SpeedHut gauges (GPS speedo), hi-output single wire charging system, Kicker speaker pods, kicker amp/10” sub, integrated roll bar, Griffin radiator, MSD ign, “monstaliner” coating on body, no rust many more pics and parts but this is getting long.
I like all sorts of vehicles so shoot me a [worthy] trade offer and if I’m interested I’ll message you back to exchange more”
A very rare treasure. Forget all the assistance systems and all the other bells and whistles that today’s cars have.
This is pure driving!
Swedish Willys truck from 1957 with 3.6 liter Super Hurricane 6-cylinder engine.
An old master mechanic did a lot on the car in just under 100 hours.
Main work: The front was converted to disc brakes with a conversion kit from kaiserwillys.com from America. That’s why 17 inch rims from a Dodge Ram are now fitted. The rims were turned out to match and powder-coated in black.”
This looks to be a modified and stretched CJ-3B. This might be 2WD.
“1946 Willy jeep will crank by spraying starting fluid in carburetor 62654 miles showing. No u can not drive it home. It needs work. But for its age it’s not bad 2500 o.b.o”
“I’m not certain on the year of this Willys. This was purchased at a Estate sale and has NO TITLE, just a bill of sale.
Would make a great off road crawler. Was set up for a small block Chevy. One piece lift off front end. Custom dash.
A few misc. parts come with it, windshield frame, tailgate, some driveshafts and such. What you see is what I have.
Has original axles under it. Newer steering box. This could be a cool crawler.
Has a nice set of 33×12.50 tires on it.
May part out if I get enough interest in parts.”
“Wow this is cool – what kind of Jeep is this exactly? From Europe? South America? Is this Korean war era? Falkland Islands? Northern Ireland? These are the kinds of questions I get which is a lot of fun. If you don’t like attention, this is not the Jeep for you.
It started out as a retired postal Jeep (DJ5). I’ve since extensively modified it to be of roughly the same dimensions as the rare Willys CJ6. Frame stretched 18” with lots of hand fabricated body modifications, roll bars, etc. Custom safari top (the only top), new seats & seatbelts, Bluetooth stereo. I tossed the tired 4-banger and swapped in a stout Ford 302 & C4 automatic. Engine has 351 heads, 4bbl, new electronic distributor, water pump, radiator, exhaust manifolds, battery, etc. etc. Fairly aggressive cam, sounds great. Way more motor than this light truck needs, but it is fun.
“I am selling my one of a kind custom Willys Jeep. This Jeep has a CJ3A front end with a custom stepside Willys pickup style bed. It is powered by a Ford 302 v8 with a T150 three speed manual transmission. That is paired to a Dana 18 transfer case that puts power to a Dana 44 rear axle and a Dana 35 front axle. The Jeep has 33” tires with front locking hubs. Jeep runs, but needs a new battery and fuel, possible the carb cleaned. I’m asking $4750 or best offer.”
“1961 Jeep willys custom 1400 miles from frame off restoration chop windshield 270 v 6 two wheel drive headers duel exhaust!! Disk breaks !! Fiber glass hood !! One of a kind !!”
UPDATE: This post was first published September 25, 2014:
Joshua Regula-Morris has a neighbor who had an MB in Germany. The first photo shows him on his Jeep in 1946. The second photo shows the text on the back of the first photo. Apparently, some Germans restyled the jeep, resulting in photo #3. Joshua’s neighbor swears this is the same jeep. Before leaving Germany he sold it to a friend. You can just make out the shackles at the front below the bumpers. Unfortunately, there aren’t any photos from the side.
