“Great truck that runs fine, but there’s not enough time to enjoy it or space to keep it around unfortunately. My loss is your gain!
Description:
– Original flat head 4-cylinder, less than 2000 miles after rebuild
– 12V power
– New brake system: brake cylinders, shoes, master cylinder, and hoses are all new
– Left side wheels changed to RH studs, and rear drums updated
– New exhaust muffler and tubes
– New military tubed tires of original size (5x)
– Proper size wheels
– New soft top
– Added speed-up adapter to PTO, and drives great at highway speeds
– Handbrake reworked and re-sealed
– All instruments working OK
– Original vacuum-powered wiper
– Added 12V 2000 lb winch — not connected yet
Spare parts include:
– Spare tire side mount

“W Scamp/ Veep Factory built. Replica replacement Steel Body for a 1951 willys built on a Box Tube Frame with VW front and rear running gear. Freeway flyer swing axle with limited slip. New Type 3 drum brakes, cylinders, wheel bearings and seals. New top and doors, Just added a empi bus shifter not shown in pics, Very low mile single port engine built for torque. Practically idles up steep hills, new quiet exhaust and factory heater boxes. Titled as a 1951 jeep on stamped body ID. Soft ride, room for 4. Great heater, Unbelievable off road traction. This is blast to drive and there will always be replacement parts through Jeep or VW websites. Great tow vehicle for a RV. Very light weight, Comes with a Tow bar and magnetic tow lights.”

(09/29/2012) This has some rust and could use some maintenance. It appears to have lots of good details.
“GREAT PROJECT. 4 WD. Converted to 12 volt. Body rust. Very good to excellent mechanical condition. Motor needs to be oiled and turned. It has been sitting for a while. Needs seats and windshield gasket.”
