These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The VEC is rough, though seller indicates there is a second body. The GPW lacks a body. Price includes many parts.
“Inherited projects. 46 has a title. They both were running but have been sitting for 20 years. I have body for 46 in garage. Lots and LOTS of parts including 2 additional engines, axels, rear ends, wheels, radiators… literally half a garage full of stuff that i believe goes to one or the other. “1945 Willy’s CJ2a (first year of cj) 39,000 original miles on original flathead four-cylinder. Original oil bath, air cleaner and all.  Runs, but will need a carb rebuild kit due to leaky seals. And brake work. this is number 1505 of 1824 on the first production run. There are a few small spot where rust is bubbling the paint job which was done in the late 70s. I have a white top and doors in good condition. Great candidate for restoration or just enjoy it as it is. this was a barn find purchase. Where it had been sitting since 1984.”

This VEC has a serial number of 10461. It has been updated with a V8. It might still have the side shift T-90 updated with a different kind of linkage. Current bid with 6 days to go is $1800.
