(07/03/2019) I can’t make out the serial number on the dash plate, but this has tool indents and it has rear floaters.

“1946 Willys jeep Runs and drives and stops rebuilt motor and trans, no title”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $25,000.
This looks nice, though neither the windshield nor the body have been restored to original. The transmission shifter is on the floor, rather than the column.
“Looking to sell my cj2a 1945 Willys sn-601. 3606 miles from frame off restoration. 500 miles from new paint to 1945 color sheme. I have a binder of the details, spare tire mounted on extra tailgate, green canvas top, shop manual and assorted jeep stuff/parts that goes with it. It is great! Just looking for a new project to nerd out on. NADA has it between 26k and 43k. An offer between that and I’ll sell it. Located 19947. Meeting location will be at the Harbeson Royal Farms. Cash or Certified Check. I’ll remove listing once sold. Added more pics Friday night. Captured a video of it running. PM me and I’ll send it to you.”
UPDATE: Was on eBay. Now priced at $8000.
(07/20/2022) This is listed on eBay with a starting bid of $5000. It’s got an M-38 style grille.

“1946 Jeep Willys CJ2A. 3 speed 4 WD, starts and runs. Clear AZ title and current registration. Engine and drive train appear original. Great project for a jeep enthusiast. ”
Glenn shared this jeep with a VEC CJ-2A body. Note the frame is described as “perfect” even though it appears modified at the front frame rails and, I suspect as a cheap lift, the rear spring hanger on the front springs has been modified.

“Almost completely rebuilt with a Jeep Dauntless V6. Frame is perfect, I’m trying to thin out my Jeep collection. It’s in primer black and is considered an early Jeep. Email only, no trades and cash only.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $900.
(05/02/2022) Given the indents and the full floaters, this might have been a 1945. If there was a column shift, it’s been replaced with a floor shifter. Just one pic provided.
“46 CJ2A runs drives and stops. I have the original gauges in a box. She needs a new tub and body package. A rewire once you have the tub off. I’m trying to not loose too much money. My mechanic retired and I don’t have the tools to finish her. More pictures available upon request. She’s been parked in the barn for a while I’ll have to drive her out to get better pictures. Not selling because I need money just want someone to finish her.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $11,500.
Listed as a 1947, this looks to be a column shift VEC CJ-2A.
“For sale is a 1947 Jeep Willys CJ2A. I believe this is a civilian Jeep. It has been owned by the same gentleman since 1989. He was a local guy in Marina, CA. This was his hunting rig that he drove for years. It ended up sitting for sometime as he got too old to drive it. But it is an original CA black plated car that has its clean title. Since we got the jeep we did a number of different things. It has an all new carburetor, rebuilt starter, new plugs, new points. We replaced the timing chain and a few other little things. Currently it is running and driving pretty well! It still obviously needs to be gone through some more but currently it will run and drive down the road, shift through all its gears well, has a working overdrive and even the old Koenig PTO winch is working perfectly. The tires are in great shape. The brakes I worked on a little bit, but it will need additional work. Working E-Brake and working lights! This jeep is solid all around and has very minimal rust.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $10,000.
You don’t often see the top bows in the bow holders on a militarized 2A. Note this has full floating hubs.
“Brand new engine built low mileage”
John spotted this early CJ-2A (#10335). It has a few updates, but appears fairly stock (especially for a PNW vehicle).
