This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 split window willys jeep with hardtop and doors, motor was overhauled 3k miles ago, runs excellent, 4×4 works, brakes are a little weak but they work, overall excellent condition for its age.”
Looks like this has a ‘California Modded’ windshield.

This has an unusual windshield.
“1953 Willys Jeep 3A for sale. (Project) Ford V8 289/302? It starts and runs however the rear axle is broke. As you can see it is a full on project. There are no seats and the back floor broad is gone. I have two windshields, One that is stock and one that is chopped 6″. It has a hard top and doors that go with it. I also have the Roll bar for it (not pictured) Asking $1200.00 obo. Consider trade for CJ-7 body and frame.”

(07/09/2013) This looks in good shape and the tub appears to be a reproduction, so it’s probably very solid.
“Classic willys jeep, restored with original engine, and running gear. has a lift kit installed, as well as aftermarket stereo and rear seat with seat belts. Very clean throughout, always garaged and adult owned. Full size spae tire on hitch mounted rack in rear. No power steering or brakes, all original. used as a camp cruiser and show vehicle for the past ten years.”
It runs, but still a project. It’s got a funky windshield.
“it runs! rebuilt chevy 350 and 4 speed (sm420) mated to the stock transfer case, exahst is made, not hooked up, have pto winch, brand new gauges, axles have had 5.29 gears put in them, custom radiator, new springs for a 3″ lift, custom widshield, new water pump, power steering pump bracket, alternator bracket etc… this is an awsome little flat fender, could be yours 🙂 call me 530 862 1569 asak for dan.”

This looks good. The windshield is unusual.
“Open the garage and cruise the backroads! Be the only one on the block to to own an early CJ, this is the same thing your grandpa rode in. New tires, year old paint, new alternator, starts and runs great, 65 years old but looks great and works good, Climb a hill better than most newer vehicles or ride in a parade!
