Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Lindsey noted this might be a CJ-V35, given the hood cut-out and the tow hooks.
“This was licensed in 2009. It was parked when owner had a stroke. Motor is out of a 45 and was rebuilt as his sons highschool project. I’m helping a disabled gentleman who still owns this. Make an offer via text or email.”

The price is a bit high, but this would likely make a great restoration candidate.

(12/22/2010) This looks like it is missing the tranny cover. This has one of the angled dashes that I believe to an aftermarket option. I’ve seen this on several jeeps.

This appears solid. It looks like the old paint was covered with some gray spray paint.

Check out the rims on the CJ-2A. I’ve never seen rims quite like those. I don’t have any specific information, other than the pics.

This runs. It might be good price. Maybe its my eyes, but there are a few details that suggest this needs a closer look (the mbish tow bar, the lack of holes for the front parking lights, and the gas inlet seems a little small), but maybe I’m just sleepy.

(07/16/2010) Pretty unusual. Something unusual has been done with the grille as well. The tines appear to shape outwords.
“1950 Jeep with Mattracks Has a remanufactured 350 Chevy V8 with New carb and intake, headers, All running gear is from an 1984 Jeep with 40,000 miles . Has power steering , brakes, and 4 speed .”
Lots of original, but not all original. The steps have been altered and there appears to have been some body work on the passenger side.
