Glenn spotted this parts/project DJ.
“1959 Willys DJ-3A, Only 1,948 produced that year. Very few left. Ran great when parked years ago. Radiator has since been stolen. Needs lots of body repair.”

Could be a DJ. I can’t tell if it has been converted to 4WD or not. No description provided.

Worth a closer look.
“For Sale 1957 DJ 3A $6500 OBO
Frame off restore, no rust nice paint. Flathead 4 cylinder, 3 speed column shift. 95% done, great shape, has a fuel issue, probably bad gas.
It has just been a porch pretty for a year. We are playing with the fact to cut it in half and stretch it and drop a big block in it and make a bad ass trail rig out of it. We’d figured Id throw it out there for sale 1st.
The inside pics are taken today and the discoloration is all just dirt and pollen. ”
Here are some jeeps/part jeeps.
“Multiple willys jeeps, a scout, and a dj5 postal jeep for sale
I’ve collected many parts jeeps and am considering thinning the collection
I’d prefer not to separate the many Engines, transmissions, transfer cases and axles but money talks
and prices begin at $1000 and go up from there I will respond to messages so let me know what you’re interested in and I have other parts available but not listed or shown”
Has a Toyota engine and lots of surface rust.
“1958 Jeep DJ-3A. This is a left hand steer, two wheel drive variant of the flat fender CJ-3A . It looks the same but is much easier and less expensive to restore than it’s four wheel drive brothers. It currently has a Toyota 20R motor and 4 speed transmission, it’s not running so I don’t know the condition of these items. Mounts and adapters are readily available to install any engine and transmission that you’d like (I have a Chevy 4.3 V6 that you could negoiate me out of). The old gal is a bit ruff but completly restorable. Tow bar included, tows smooth and easy.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3995.
This has a postal jeep frame (or maybe DJ frame?).
“Offering my 1943 Willys Jeep Rat Rod! This has been an awesome toy but I need the room for other projects. 43 Willys body on Jeep postal carrier frame. Nisson Z engine and 5 speed tranny, Comfortable Peugot velour seats with waterproof covers, Bimini top, new tires and wheels, and tow bar. Everything works except the speedometer! Runs excellent and is a lot of fun to drive! This is a one-of-a-kind must see! $3995 OBO”

Michael spotted this DJ. It hasn’t been run in a while.
“Completely unmolested, clean, straight, no rust, no dents great barn find specimen. This is an all original, all numbers matching, 27000 actual mile Willy’s. Engine hasn’t run in a while but little doubt that it will. It odes turn over, it does have compression and fire. I took the Jeep for trade on some work I done. I have no place for it and no time to refurb.
This would be an incredible father son recon project. It’s all there. I even have the original jack, lug wrench and spare tire.
The right rear brake is locked up.
Title is current and clean. VIN 24242. Matching on frame rail and VIN tag.
Original color was white but it has been painted.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5250.
Jim spotted this one. The 3A has a DJ body.
“This is a project that would be fairly easy to complete if someone has the time. Its a parts jeep to my knowledge an early willys frame and a later model body. The frame is in great shape and body is as well except for a few dents and rust spots in floor. I have a Willy engine that was completely rebuilt and was running smoothly when i took it out. I have tons of parts for it and have done a lot of work but like I said just don’t have time to finish it! I’ve done all the hard work, trust me when I say it will be easier to rebuild than it was to take apart! Please call, txt, or email with any questions as this jeep is completely disassembled and I can take more pics and answer or get answers to any questions you might have! This is a PROJECT JEEP! 5250 OBO”
