About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Here’s a M-151 modified for riot control. I haven’t seen this mod used too often (fortunately).

“1952 M151-Style Army Jeep (tags say M38A1). 4-wheel independent suspension. Body rough. Extra motor & transmission. Bill of Sale & Inspection Certificate ONLY. $1,500.00 OBO.”
My initial reaction to this was, “what is wrong with you people in Alaska?”. But then, I thought better of it, realizing there are just as many crazy contraptions in every latitude. Then, thinking about it even more, I thought that bringing the exhaust over the hood might just be an impractical, funky, slightly nutty, but necessary warming solution?? Any, even better, you just never know when carrying an extra body might be useful.
“1952 Military Jeep M38A1 Originally a Fort Rich Jeep. Need Restoration but its all there. Have a spare chassis and two spare bodies 700 obo”
“Asking $1200 O.B.O.

The body has been cut on over the years, and mods made.
All original from the dashboard forward.
The frame is rotted at the left rear spring pearch.

(06/18/2012) Well, the price is right. Now, what does it fit?
“6′ wide by 11′ long has all hardware intact zippers, fasteners, etc
2 windows, one has small crack in plastic, one of the zippers may need a little adjustment, and the color is a bit faded on the red
probably fits a Willys”
