Alex forwarded this amazing wooden jeep replica from France.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6495.
For $6,495 I could buy a very nice real jeep, though I’d get in trouble for driving it on a golf course.

“42? WILLYS MB? WITH ¼ TON TRAILER BED, FLAT HEAD MOTOR, RAN WHEN PARKED LAST YEAR, NO TITLE,”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay
“ A very unique Willys Jeep FC-170.
Bought new in Oregon by a rancher – story told he bought it new and then had the engine swapped out to a Hercules 6 cylinder because it had many more H.P. Then he had a professional welder fabricator build a hauling container on the back for hauling two horses, two cows, or maybe just one Rhino.
It has not been running for about 9 years. It has been kept in a heated storage unit for last 7 years. One cab corner needs to be replaced but they do make reproduction replacements. Right side glass needs to be replaced also.
There is a Winch under the truck and rollers under each bumper so you can winch from the front or the rear. There are doors on both sides of the hauling box for putting hay in there for the animals. It has a snorkel air cleaner, snorkel oil breather, and a snorkel gas fill. The welds are very high quality – you can’t even see any grinding marks. This truck can cross rivers!
The tailgate is operated through a pulley system with a really cool antique crank. And it really works. Check out the pictures! The seats were recovered early on, so the original upholstery is still on the seats. I will add other oddities as I think of them.””
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
This runs and drives. This comes with a little known and rare Willys Overland Factory Installed Sun Bathing Platform.
“1947 Willys CJ-2 Jeep, Has all origional motor and running gear, it has been converted to 12 volt electrical system, This would be a great vehicle to restore to origional condition. Motor and drive train are in good condition. The body is fair, but very restorable. This Jeep starts and runs good. Has good tires. If interested, Please call before coming out to look. The Jeep is located in Skull Valley Az.”
Hog spotted this one. While not a real VEEP, this custom VW Jeep is unusual.

UPDATE: Bob from Ohio bought this. I can’t wait to hear more about it. Was listed at $1000.
Bob forwarded this to me via the CJ-2A Page. It’s an odd duck. I am thinking it it is a shortened Jeepster on a CJ frame.
“46 Ford Jeepster a one of a kid. Needs a lot of work but has a lot of potential. I bought the car 16 years ago and haven’t had the time or money to get it restored. It has some transmission problems and other minor problems, dead battery, etc. Has new tires. I need to sell it as soon as possible and the price is negotiable..”
Robin emailed me the other day asking how rare Willys trucks with tow packages are. Before answering her question, I did some searches to make sure my answer, which was yes, was correct. That’s when I came across these two pictures. One is a beautiful Willys Tow Truck and the other is entirely odd ball.
This is a picture that is being auctioned on eBay:
This image was taken by Randy Brown on February of 2010:
UPDATE: This hasn’t been listed in two years. Price dropped to $100. Glenn notes the body is a DJ.

On Saturday Buz stopped by the Good Guys Hot Rod show at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina. He saw some cool vehicles and took some pictures of them for us. Thanks Buz!
Buz reports that the makers of these bags are waiting for approval from Jeep to produce this tool bag. He says everyone there wanted to buy this one prototype.
