Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1962 Willys Wagon for sale. A survivor, approximately 90% original and in running condition. Perfect candidate for restoration or run it as is. The pictures tell the story on the condition of the body. Super Hurricane flathead six motor. Reasonable offers considered.”

“Parting ways with a 1962 Jeep Willys Wagon. Most all original, including 6-226 Super Hurricane engine. I believe the only modifications to body or mechanical is a small mounting tab on the left, front bumper (can be seen in some pictures) and the battery/starter wiring. Jeep ran up great until about 3 years ago. It had a starter motor or solenoid requiring some work, I didn’t have the time and now here we are…
Some typical rusting in the back panel of the tailgate, typical for this make/model – you can see this in the pictures. There are also some shallow dents in the roof (you can see these from the pictures). Otherwise, the body is in good shape. This jeep has been garaged for the last 10 years or so.
