1948 CJ-2A Cutchogue, NY $17,500

This refurbed 2A looks solid. It lacks drain holes, but the body seems in good shape and nicely repaired (if that’s the case). It lacks the original hood and the front gussets are missing, too. The truck behind it looks very nice.

“Bought this a few months ago it ran and drove. It is an absolute blast to drive, like a cross between a tractor and a gokart… I took it around the neighborhood and to the grocery store a few times down the street, then started to prep to remove the tub to fix some rust on the floor panels. There are kits sold online that you just weld in place to make it a fairly siple repair.

I didn’t get very far, removed some body bolts, undid the dash wiring (all clearly labeled for easy re-assembly) You could put it all bag together and just drive it as is without issue, my plan was a full restoration but quickly realizing I do not have the time.

Year? Jeepney Salem, OH **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Features, Other 4x4s This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** in 2020.  Rudy noted that this was sold at auction in 2014.

(07/05/2019) Craig shared this nice looking Jeepney. It’s got a number of cool details, including a map of the midwest painted on the ceiling. Listed as a 1946, I couldn’t say for sure if that year is accurate or not.

“1946 F-134, T-90 3 speed, if you want a vehicle to take to the car and Jeep shows that will always bring a smile and draw a crowd this is it!! Super rare to find in this country, Jeepneys were made after WWII when we left our Jeeps in the Philippines, the people there were very crafty and creative, they turned the WWII Army Jeeps into colorful people haulers, there are only a few in this country, here is your chance for a cool vehicle for your collection that is guaranteed to stand out.”
