About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Six early CJ5 15×8″ hard to find and sought-after wheels in great shape! Good lug holes, good valve step holes, and very little rust (surface). (last two images are what these wheels look like with tires mounted)
1948 CJ2A Lefty. Willys only made 9,708 Lefty model Jeeps! You’ll notice from the photos that the spare tire is on the left side with the bow brackets on the right. It seems it was to satisfy a state law about possibly hitting pedestrians? I haven’t exactly figured out all the logic behind it. I’m not certain how many Lefties are still on the road?
Anyway, this one runs and drives, everything works as intended. It’s almost 80 years old so it has a few leaks as to be expected! I’m not sure you can stop them with the old felt seals etc. I’m the second owner of this Jeep and have enjoyed it immensely. Only selling because I’d like to get something newer and don’t have room to store 2 Jeeps. I’d even be open to trading for a newer model Wrangler. 90’s-early 2000’s? Let me know what you have. Obviously could need to be cash also depending on values. I don’t need help selling it. If it’s still posted it is still available. Please call, I don’t make deals via text messages.
Jeep not running. Floor board has significant rust in it. cylinder head currently off engine as it needed a new head gasket. The engine is a F head 4 cylinder.
I’ve had this Willys far too long and have accepted that I’ll never get to the build I envision 🙁
Purchased in 1990 and dismantled in 1991, after I cooked the rear pinion bearing. It’s been in a garage/tent in Santa Cruz Co. ever since. In CA DMV non-op status since 1994 – I have a clean title in hand.
The package deal includes all parts for a complete jeep (and then some), including:
– Body tub, fenders, grill, 2 hoods, windshield, tailgate, roll cage, 2 seats
The posted price is less than the sum of the parts value. I’ll entertain offers – just not ridiculous ones. I can deliver within reasonable distance for cost of trailer and fuel.
Please do not contact me unless you are familiar with 66 year old vehicles,I don’t need your money that bad, tired of idiots asking me stupid stuff like does it have a back up camera? I don’t have the time or patience for you…Runs and Drives 4WD works great it’s a 1960 WILLYS CJ5 it needs brakes fixed and gas tank has internal corrosion so fuel line is hooked to a jug,it can be driven in my pasture to check it out,it has the famous 4 cylinder Hurricane engine runs good no smoke leaks or knocks,it’s not rusted out like most 66 year old vehicles,it spent 40 years inside a barn. $3000 FIRM.
This 1947 Willys CJ2 Jeep will be sold for the best offer at online auction ending on Thursday, May 14, 2026 beginning at 2:00PM.
Also available is a 2008 Lowe 16′ Aluminum John Boat with 2015 Honda 40HP 4-Stroke Motor and Single-Axle Boat Trailer with Trolling Motor, plus much more.
very solid Kaiser built CJ-5 restoration project, V-6 Dauntless (Buick) engine in running condition, working snowplow, excellent tires, transmission and clutch in working order, new fuel pump and filter, I flushed the fuel tank and lines which are very clean and rust free, recent oil change, other than surface rust there is no rust rot on the vehicle, floor is solid, it runs and drives, doesn’t smoke, all the lights work, there was a title which was lost, but it was signed in the wrong places by the previous owner… it also needs a battery, the emission air pump is seized and disconnected, the drive train is in solid condition, brakes work, it was purchased new in Steamboat Springs, lifelong Colorado vehicle and sat in a field for a few years when the fuel pump went out, the odometer reads 05336, so I assume it’s rolled over, a great candidate for restoring though it wouldn’t take much to get it in basic working condition and plow your drive. call or Email questions and contact info, consider certain motorcycles or car hauling trailer in trade
