This might make a good restoration.
“Complete and Original!
I picked this up for a project I had in mind, but decided it was too original to tear apart. I found another pickup to use instead so now this one is up for grabs!
UPDATE: Nathan has provided more photos and information.

“Car runs and drives. Has issues we will discuss if serious. Retractable roof , (manual) , runs excellent, pretty much all original condition, had been painted at some point. Looking to get cash deal but would consider 3000.00 and small truck that I feel is worth the remaining 1700.00. Text is best. Only check email occasionally. Please serious inquiries only.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4400
(05/07/2015) Interesting intake system (I thought it was the exhaust system)

“1942 GPW JEEP — Project Jeep, motor cranked and runs – trans and clutch need work – no title, can be gotten as rebuilt vehicle through SCHD. Serial Number indicated 1942 on frt frame rail. Think its military but not sure and researching at present. Have 2 Project Jeeps and need to downsize to only 1.

The 2A appears to be a VEC, but it looks more like a ’46.
“1945 & 53 Willy’s Jeeps For Sale / B.O. for both. (No splitting them up).
1945 is the one with the top/plow and is pretty much complete. The other is the 53, this one is pretty much a parts unit. Both Jeep’s need lots of work, but if you’re a Jeep fanatic they are diamonds in the ruff. Both are extremely hard to find, so no lowballing. . . ”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
(01/03/2012) It runs.
“1946 CJ2A Jeep with a 4 cylinder F4-134 Hurricane engine. The engine runs great and the drive train is in good condition. It was drivable when I parked it some time ago, but now needs master cylinder work. I do start the engine monthly, I do have some extra parts, transmission, front drive shaft and extra tires. This would be a great restoration or crawler project and is fun in the desert..”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $10,000.
(03/25/2015) Runs and drives.
“I have a 1961 Willys CJ6 jeep for sale, clean title. I have had this jeep for over 30 years but it is time to let it go. I no longer have use for it and would like it to go to someone that will us it! It runs like a champ have had the carburetor, original PTO winch, engine rebuilt back in 2007-2009. Everything in working condition. I have documentation on all of it.”
