This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Beautiful 1955 Willy’s Street Rod. This is one of the nicest delivery sedans that you will see. Everything redone on it. All the modern comforts for today’s driving. Chevy 350 engine with 4 barrel carb. 350 automatic transmission, power front disk brakes, power steering. Tilt steering column, in dash CD stereo, custom gauges. Custom interior. Runs and drives very nice, smooth and fast.No issues. Custom dual exhaust, new wiring and brakes. The Willy’s is rust free with the exception of a few small bubbles starting to show on the lower part of the drivers door.”

It has an overdrive, a sm420, and presumably a sm420-dana 18 adapater. There’s some value here. There is no motor.

The seller notes this has a “head turning paint job”. I could suggest that it’s not my head that’s turning, but I try not to be so blunt. If the seller reads this, I’d strongly suggest painting it green. The value will increase.
“hello this listing is for a 1947 willys jeep i bought about 6 months ago and ive done some work to it but i just have to many toys soo this has to go it has the original flathead engine that runs great smokes a lil bit (rings) the 4 wheel drive works great so does the high and low range. it has a new fuel pump and the radiator was reconditioned and it has a head turning paint job!!! own a peice of history asking.”

It runs but doesn’t stop. I think this is a CJ-3A with a 2A windshield.

(09/15/09) This appears like a nicely original Wagon in good shape.
“Mechanically original (6 volt system). Engine rebuilt in mid 90s (valves replaced to accept unleaded fuel.) Reupholstered in 2002. Garage kept, been in family 40 years in dry NE Oregon. Teen daughters rolling their eyes. Priced at lower end of KBB for it’s condition.”
