About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“This Forward Control 170 is just about ready for final re-assembly. Her body is almost fully prepped for paint and the running gear needs a few more pieces. She’s rust free and just needs wrenching time. Located in Portland, OR she is part of collection of projects owned by a serious restorer of everything Willys.
The body is in fantastic shape with 90 %+ of the work completed. The undercarriage looks fabulous, and no rust can be detected. The cab is ultra-solid, one door needs to be reskinned and she is missing the windshield. Previous owner engineered a forward tilting cab using a hydraulic ram, allowing access to the running gear. Most every item is available to finish the exterior, from bumpers to emblems. Continue reading →
“Drivable m38a1 jeep original motor matching vin#( motor# and 2 vin# plates) needs restoration but very original and complete plus new winter top/doors and fording kit snorkel and exhaust. extra front and rear axle and many extra”
This may be a GPW, as I think I see a GPW crossmember on it. The engine has a CJ head and a later oil filter bracket, so it appears not to be the completely original engine.

“Nice little cj2a. Have been working on it but now priorities have changed. New water pump, break reservoir, points, plugs, rotor and cap and spark plug wires. Needs to hook a new fuel line from tank to fuel pump ( which also need replaced. the pump.). motor starts right up when you pour some gas into the carburetor. Great project if you want to restore or clean up and use as is. Mostly just surface rust. Only thru rust I’ve seen is in floorboard on passenger side, which has been plated under. If ad is up it’s available. CASH only and don’t need help selling and I’ve heard all the scams so don’t bother me with them.”
Thanks to Scott for scanning and sharing this rare set of instructions from a Jeep-A-Trench manual. I know there are a few of you who are interested in this.
“Up for sale is a subdued brass plate from a Go For Digging Machine attachment for a military issued Willy’s Jeep. This brass plate 8″ x 5″ and is a really cool piece of military and Willy’s Jeep history.”
