Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Looks like an early 1950s l-head. Seller describes it as diesel, but I doubt that.
“It is a willys diesel motor needs a 6 volt battery to start needs some cleaning and paint photos will tell all .Someone told me it is the motor that the army uses for jeeps I would think it would have to be dependable.”

“Vintage Jeep Ford GPW 1942 GPW18221. Lots of original F script parts. Non running but engine turns freely. Engine is not original as far as I can tell as engine serial number starts with J. Front frame serial number is GPW18231 which falls somewhere between 3 and 7 of 1942. Condition is “Used”. Three 15” wheels and one 16” non combat rim. Would make good project or for parts. No title selling as is. Pickup only in SW VA or would consider delivering within 100 miles. No reserve.”

“Selling my unrestored WW2 Willys 1/4 Ton trailer. Needs to be restored. Needs handbrake and brake linkage, wheels are post war, needs landing leg. I have two fenders which are included. Original paint on back side which has not been cut for tailgate. Bottom panel needed. Please look at the pics and ask all questions before bidding. If you want more images, please ask. This seller has six FCs. This is the last one available.
“The FC in the photos is the last FC left for sale. It has an old power angle Meyers snow blade, a Jayhawk dump, a Koenig winch and dual PTO unit. It has a dealer added power brake system. The master cylinder has been rebuilt with a brass sleeve by White Post Restoration. It has not run for 2 years. In the next few weeks I plan to get it running and install a new muffler weather permitting. Some of these parts are not installed. The spare tire bracket has been bent since the photo was taken. I have a title for this.”

“This is a Jeep Willys from the 1940’s we think. It ran when we got it a couple years ago but we were going to fix it up better. We’ve changed our minds and would like to sell it and not fool with it anymore. It could be a nice one if someone took the time to do it. The basic parts are here – the body and windshield and seats, etc. There is rust and some rebuilding is needed.”

“i have for sale a great condition 1968 jeepster for sale. it was made kaiser willys jeep in Toledo Ohio. it a v6 3 speed manual transmission 4 wheel drive with manual hubs. this model is alittle more rare as it has 3 factory gas tanks. it has the continental bumper. clean yellow paint with good paint. All good glass. runs and drives great with classic plates. Time to change things up so trades maybe considered for other classic cars but would prefer cash. tires are great and has roughly 63000 miles. everything works as it should. im asking 15000 o.b.o. i have a clean and clear title. It will come with a service manual and several extra parts and goodies.”
