I don’t think I’ve shared this specific jeep-trailer photo. It was posted by Morihisa Ochi on the G503 Facebook page. He’s posted a number of interesting WWII-jeep photos.

Here’s another interesting photo from Morihisa Ochi. It shows a Ford GP that’s been converted into more of a truck and a radio jeep.

Year? CJ-3A Tacoma, WA $4750

This jeep has been modified with a truck bed. It’s listed as a 1958, so maybe it was originally a DJ-3A or maybe it is a modified CJ-3B or CJ-5.

“I am selling my one of a kind custom Willys Jeep. This Jeep has a CJ3A front end with a custom stepside Willys pickup style bed. It is powered by a Ford 302 v8 with a T150 three speed manual transmission. That is paired to a Dana 18 transfer case that puts power to a Dana 44 rear axle and a Dana 35 front axle. The Jeep has 33” tires with front locking hubs. Jeep runs, but needs a new battery and fuel, possible the carb cleaned. I’m asking $4750 or best offer.”

1948 CJ-2A-Truck Priest River, ID Status Unknown

UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $4000.

This may be one of the custom CJ-2A trucks sold out of Spokane (or it is a truck chassis with modified 2A body). This might differ from the “CJ-2Ls”, which had extended bodies to match the longer frames. It would be interesting to compare this frame with the CJ-2L frame. The half-top could be a remodeled Worman full-top.

This bottom ad describes a long-wheel base jeep with half cab made of wood. It’s plausible a similar vehicle was made with a metal half cab.

(05/18/2020) Coincidently, $2500 ($1500 in cash, key fob, and other stuff and $1000 in tires) is how much it cost us to get out of Spanish Fork when we were there in 2018! This modified CJ-5 is kinda ugly and cool at the same time. Given he top, the winch, and the turbine rims, there just might be some value here. No description provided.
