This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The body might be worth the price. It’s listed as a 1944 MB, but it’s got a Civvy frame and fiberglass body.

I’m not sure if the bend in the back is just a little flexing or whether it is more permanent than that.

Merlin shared this DJ-5 with an unusual fiberglass replacement body on Facebook. One person thinks the body is a “Bum-Vee” body, but I couldn’t confirm that. Anyone recognize this body? It reminds me of the Parmley body.

(02/20/2022) This fiberglass body may be the 3B Bobcat version. It’s got the wide brim in the back and the long steps. But, it is difficult to tell for sure.

This 3B chassis has a fiberglass body, though it is a low hood body. We’ve seen some midwest wide-brim fiberglass bodies like this a few times now. I’m unsure of the manufacturer.

This looks like a decent build. It may have a CJ-3B windshield. It does have a fiberglass body kit.

“60’s cj5 frame and dauntless motor. 70’s t15 transmission and Dana 20 tcase. 70’s axles 4:27 gears. Disc brakes and power steering. All new clutch stuff with hydraulic master. Still needs some tweaking, maybe a different size master. Fiberglass body. Good title. Runs moves stops, but still a project.”
