The rear wheel wells have been cut (to push seats back farther) and their are a large number of bolts through the passenger side of the body (why??), so it’s hard to say for sure how much value is here, but I suspect this body is savable. I’ve saved worse. Thanks to Mike for spotting it.

“1948 Willy’s. 4×4 has fiber glass body since original rusted out, but original engine, trans, transfer case, axles, etc. Windshield and windshield frame are original as well and do still fold. Runs and drives great. Sitting on 35’s. Everything works as it should. Seats are removable for easy clean out. Fires up everytime and will definitely put a smile on your face! The seller’s reference to the Bobcat of the 1950s is incorrect. This is the “bobcat” jeep from the 1950s. The Bobcat body wasn’t developed until 1969.

“1953 Jeep willys bobcat the body is all fiberglass it was a proto type for throwing out of planes but never were produced. This has a ford 302 v8 that runs strong it needs work here and there but nothing major. Im putting a new clutch and brake master cylinder on tommorow.
