This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Very solid Willys Jeep with original oak braces under the tub still intact. Floors are solid. Spent most of it’s life in Texas. Drive train is believed to be original. Starts, runs, drives, and stops great. New tires, new brakes, new carburetor. Lights, heater, wipers, gauges work.

“52 Willys CJ3A for sale. Clean title. Runs well, but needs complete restored. Not registered. Used for plowing my driveway for many years. Comes with complete plow set up. 6 Volt, L head 134 engine. (09/26/2017) A factory bed conversion for a CJ-5? Anyone ever run across that? It’s listed as a 1952, but it has CJ-5 grille and body at the very least. Looks like a ventilating windshield, too (thanks Dave).

Two curiosities about this CJ-6. One, it appears there is a lien on the title. Two, this appears to have the original cover plate where the transfer case levers should be located. It makes me wonder if this was originally a DJ-6. The serial number ought to reveal that.
“1966 Jeep CJ-6, comes with removable Meyer steel half cab hard top, a period correct aftermarket top that makes the CJ-6 into a little pickup. The doors have rolling tempered window glass, and are complete, I believe one hinge needs to be sourced but the setup is otherwise complete.
Vehicle is a complete barn find – correct first year Dauntless crossfire V6, three speed manual, separate transfer case. Rare 60/40 bench option.
Not currently running, what you see is what you get – a fun, simple, rare old project jeep.”

Mike’s selling his running and driving 3B with a PTO winch. It’s got a great, rustic look to it.
“True barn find, I bought this in Montana a few years ago. It was stored in a barn for 30 years. I trailered it back and parked it in my garage for past 3 years. It’s complete and stock. I removed the head and cleaned the cylinders. Runs great, does not smoke. Original f-134 and 3 speed. Has PTO winch. Brakes need work. This Jeep is cancer free, has surface rust but tub is solid, hat channels and tool box are solid. I’ll fix brakes but price will go up. Has Montana pick slip. Ready to restore or drive as is.”
