About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
The half cab looks home made to me. There’s a large dent in the driver’s side fender. I can’t tell if the floors have patches or if there is some garbage on the floor.
(12/04/2023) This appears to have an extra shift lever (probably an overdrive). It also has a Koenig bed extender and a Sears-style half-cab. There could be some value here.
“1959 Jeep Willy’s project, everything is there. Has a 6 cylinder engine that does not run but it isn’t seized up. 3 speed manual transmission, hi and low range shifter, four wheel drive shifter, and it has a pto lever for a winch on the front. Pretty cool little project. Price is obo make an offer.”
“This is a 1965 Kaiser Willys CJ-5 with a Hurricane 4-cylinder as well as a half cab, and an uncommon dome light on top. Looking for $1000 Or best offer. Pros It’s cool It has a clean title and is the ORIGINAL title Has a snow plow and I believe a willys branded hydraulic pump for the plow Has a rare dome light Has a half cab Has a bunch of good parts and semi good parts! …and bad parts if you’re into that… It is complete other than the natural weight reduction Has a factory heater And the frame is good
Cons DOES NOT RUN DOES NOT DRIVE WILL NEED TO BE PUT ON A TRAILER Tub is VERY rusted out, and the motor is stuck. It definitely a parts deal or a project.”
“70 Jeep CJ5. Runs and drives. Currently tagged antique and tag is transferable to new owner if here in Pa. Factory 225 Buick V6 mated to a t-14 3 speed with Warn Overdrive. Factory 4.88 gears. Has a SSBC disk brake conversion for front brakes. Jeep does have rot in the floors but frame looks good. I can get as many pictures as necessary. Jeep has a cool story as it was originally built as a camper. Google “CJ5 Camper” and you will see it. 6 1/2 foot Meyer Power Angle snowplow. Nice 30 inch mud tires with matching spare. Snow is coming! Any questions feel free to ask!”
“Willys Jeep. New brakes, master cylinder and entire brakes. Wheels blasted and painted and new tires and tubes. New seats with original frames. This Jeep has a PTO but needs the shaft. Runs and drives good but motor could use a rebuild. New gas tank and lines the body is rough but could be used depending on what you plan to do with the Jeep. Battery does NOT come wit it. Great to restore or just continue to use as is. The cab was added from an old truck many years ago and it works pretty good. This is your chance to own a classic Willys.”
“Jeep Gladiator CJ6, V6 Engine, Myers elec. Plow, heater. Defroster, Passenger seat, Kelly Half Cab, truck base. In great condition for its age. RUNS, NEEDS EXHAUST PARTS INSTALLED. USE AS IS OR RESTORE. WE’VE CHECKED ON PRICING, SETTLED ON $11,000”
“Selling my 1946 cj2a. Hate to sell it but I got another one which is as good as I ever hoped for this one to be. It was used as a plow jeep for many years before I bought it I’ll start with the good Runs and drives very well, engine sounds amazing. The body has many patches but the floors are solid. It has a previous registration and plates but no title. Depending on when it sells I might include a spare frame for extra. The half cab is solid and are hard to come by. It comes with a complete plow setup that I know for a fact works. Cons The frame needs a patch before I’d recommend even yard driving it. One of the rear left leaf spring mounts rotted through the frame, the last owner never told me that before driving 6 hours to buy it. The brake lines are all there, unsure if theyre even hooked up, but the brakes don’t work. It’s currently hooked up to an auxiliary gas tank in the bed but I will be including a plastic one. 2700 obo, negotiable in person only, no I’m not parting it out”
