Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This 1948 CJ-2A sports a rare Worman Half-Cab (Jee Cab), though sadly it took a hit of some kind on the topside.

The jeep looks great. It’s sporting a Kelly half cab. I met the seller a few years ago at a non jeep event.

(03/10/2024) This has a GPW body. It may also have a rare Dumas or Carson middle seat (can’t tell for sure). It also has an unusual modified, but probably handy, cowl.

“1953 Willys CJ3A. No engine, had a ford 4cyl. I believe it has a GPW body going by the fuel tank filling under the driver’s seat , rear toolbox’s on fenders and no tailgate. Has been modified with a storage space under the windshield. Homemade lift shackles on the springs. Not in bad shape for its age. Clear Wyoming title. Sold as is. I do have a fresh rebuilt iron duke engine for sale for an additional charge.”

Panel rust in usual places but underneath and hat channels are in good condition. I have a 1978 Buick 231 even fire engine with 79000 miles on it for an extra $500.00.
