Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (03/10/2024) This has a GPW body. It may also have a rare Dumas or Carson middle seat (can’t tell for sure). It also has an unusual modified, but probably handy, cowl.

“1953 Willys CJ3A. No engine, had a ford 4cyl. I believe it has a GPW body going by the fuel tank filling under the driver’s seat , rear toolbox’s on fenders and no tailgate. Has been modified with a storage space under the windshield. Homemade lift shackles on the springs. Not in bad shape for its age. Clear Wyoming title. Sold as is. I do have a fresh rebuilt iron duke engine for sale for an additional charge.”

“For sale. All original 1969 Jeep CJ5 Renegade. Dauntless 225 odd fire engine. Runs and drives but definitely needs some love. Panel rust in usual places but underneath and hat channels are in good condition. I have a 1978 Buick 231 even fire engine with 79000 miles on it for an extra $500.00. Might trade for an older pickup truck in running condition. Clear Colorado title in hand. Show me the cash or your trade and let’s deal.”

“1950 CJ3A. 200 Ford “Straight 6” out of 60’s Mustang. Runs amazing. New ring gear, starter, battery, fuel tank, sender, etc. Aluminum radiator. New STA Coker vintage style tires. Koenig half cab, nicest half cab I’ve ever seen! I might try and keep cab if new owner doesn’t want it. Body has some rust pockets from being in Colorado most of its life. Battery shut off switch. Kill switch on dash. Roll bar. Disc brakes. Good glass. Saginaw Steering conversion. Lots of work went into making this Jeep drive very well. Interior/ seats are very nice and comfortable. Needs just a little TLC, but can go on the trail today(shifter has some play). Clean title in my name. Located in Queen Creek, Arizona.”
I’m sure this was a service station jeep at some point. It’s got a PTO tow setup in the rear with what looks to be a Koenig half cab? I might have a big push bumper in the front. While the listed price is $10k, it sounds like the seller is really just looking for best offer.
