About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Project jeep. Needs full restoration. Have extra drive train. 3 sets of axles. Extra solid frame. One piece fiberglass nose. Thinning the heard. I can do the bodywork for you at additional cost”
“1948 Willys CJ2A with a 3A windshield. Chevy 350 gear drive engine, Chevy truck 4 speed manual transmission, Dana 300 twin stick transfer case, Toyota axles, rear spool, coil 4 link rear suspension, leaf spring cross over steering front suspension, 35×16.5×16 super swamper bogger tires on American Racing custom wheels, too much to list. No tire kickers. Serious inquiries only. Will only show to cash in hand buyers. $7500.00 OBO.”
Seller believes the Koenig hardtop top came off of a DJ, but that top wouldn’t have fit the wider windshield of the CJ-5.
“Been slowly fixing this cj5 up over the last year or so.

Brake master cylinder
All brake slave cylinders
All brake shoes
Brake flex lines
Ignition switch
Tail lights
Distributor cap, rotor, points and leads
Spark plugs
Coolant hoses
Fan belt
Installed delco 145amp alternator.
And more I have forgotten about!
The original f134 motor runs well and I have driven the jeep around the block a few times. Still needs some work to be roadworthy but not much. Body is in good shape with very little rust.
Has a interesting Hardtop and doors that I suspect came off a dj5
Vehicle is fitted with a Ramsey pto winch and PTO.
Vehicle needs new rear leaf springs and the parking brake fixed before it will be roadworthy. Also the fuel tank really needs to be flushed and sealed.”
“Here is a good Jeep project. Engine will run, not seized. Hate to see it sit here. Has everything it needs to be put back together to run except a battery. Mostly all original. Some newer parts include; fuel line, fuel pump, and ignition. Has M38A1 radiator and hood. Custom made tow hitch. The floors are completely shot in front but still has original floor in the rear. Even has original spare tire support baffle. in the rear fender well.
I made my own spare tire carrier. The dashboard is not cut up. Rare aluminum Sears Deluxe Arctic Hardtop with original glass. No glass for the doors. The top is full of dents, but still serves its purpose. Comes with standard low back seats. Previous owner put Toyota lap seat belts in it. I also will include original Willys front fenders and new aftermarket fenders. And old ford rims and tires if you want period correct look, just have to put inner tube in one tire. Also can include a kaiser era tailgate. Selling as whole, cash only, no trades. $2500 obo willing to negotiate on price”
“Willys Jeep Pick Up Aluminum Camper Shell. I had it on my 1957 Willys Jeep Pick Up.
Standard Willys Jeep trucks had the same cabs and beds from about 1948 to 1962 or so. It would fit these years.
Made by ” Caravan Co, Reno Nevada” Has a steel rack with rollers for a canoe. Strong build.
Needs 1 flat glass side window. Some rust on the top roof vent. Small dings etc. as seen. NO BIG DENTS.
Good original condition. Would polish out or can take CAMO PAINT.
Some photos of it on the truck are black before it was cleaned. Photos off of the truck are as it is today.
Changed the look of the truck a lot. Don’t see many of them out there…”
“Good shape overall but needs some repair.
Only glass is in the doors which is in fair condition… appears original
Windshield in great rot free
Could use some new paint, the roof needs a little repair and has a dent as well.
The majority of the top and doors are Aluminum and the windshield is steel.”
(10/17/2016) “Awesome Jeep with a lot done to it. Chevy 327 V8 engine with a Holley spread bore 4 barrel carb, Muncie 4 speed transmission, Dana 18 transfer case. Factory hard top with doors. I have a new soft top for it as well. Dual exhaust. Spring over axle conversion. Front springs shackle reversal. Updated power steering, power brakes and tilt steering column. 15 gallon CJ fuel tank mounted under the body in the rear between the frame rails. The original fuel tank under driver’s seat has been removed. Could be replaced, I don’t like sitting on it. 33×12.5 tires. New: drive shafts, water pump, radiator, battery, shocks and steering damper.”
“Kelly-All-Steel Cab for 50-60’s CJ’s. In good structural condition, some glass broken/missing. Believe this company made the hard-tops for Willys jeeps. Very solid!”
