About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Hard top came off of a 1946 CJ2A. I have both doors and the rear hatch for it. Glass is cracked on most windows. But otherwise looks in pretty good shape”
“1954 Willys CJ3B. Great project. Extremely solid and straight. Has arctic hardtop. Engine and seats are missing but everything thing else is there. Find another 134 “F” head or perfect for a v6 or V8 conversion. Last driven in 1976. Stored under a carport for a majority of the time since then. It will be hard to find a better CJ3B to restore than this one. Has not been abused or molested like a most. If the ad is up it’s for sale. No trades too many projects already.”
“I’m posting this for my mom. The jeep is left over from my Uncle’s estate and has been sitting for several years. A trailer would be needed for transport. Most likely needs a new engine. The jeep has several areas of rust. Would be a good project for restoration. $2000 obo.”
“I have a vintage steel jeep hard top for sale. It was made by Koenig Iron Works. It came off of a Willys CJ3B but should fit other models as well. It is in good condition and is complete. All glass it intact and all mounting brackets are included. One door window is missing it’s regulator clip.
This version has vertical rear doors and removable side doors.”
“Early flat fender, serial # 174675. Engine turns over but needs electrical work to fire it up. Also needs floor patched up and seats. Comes with historic original Carson ‘Bomber’ aluminum hardtop and doors. Clean title. Cash or wire transfer only. Offers please.”
“I have a 51 Willy’s jeep for sale or trade it’s in great condition been shedded it’s whole life has some rust on bottom nothing major has all the original doors and tailgate and motor, it doesn’t currently run but motor turns over asking $2700”
“This rare CJ6 has 32,000 original miles. The body is straight and the underside is very clean and original; not all sprayed down with undercoating. No patches or rust repair. Frame is clean. Jeep is from down south. Original F has 134 4cyl motor. Runs and starts great. 4 x 4 works smooth. Brakes are good goes down the road nice. Everything works. This CJ6 has the rear long range option. Two gas tanks one on each side. Koenig hard top and doors are nice shape and straight. Hard to find for CJ6!”
“Willys jeep project, current engine has a bad block, spare block is included. I believe this was made in the 40s I may have a title for it, if sufficient interest is shown I will dig for it.”
(04/15/2018) Jon’s selling his CJ-6. You can see more pics here on Photobucket or on Craigslist. Video below taken during remaining body assembly and before valve adjustment. You can contact him at jonvo@paadgroupllc.net.
Have had this jeep for many years, just recently finished mechanical restoration. Need to sell as too many vehicles & projects. This is apparently a rare Jeep, was not aware until recently. Special Tux
Park parts are included except:
Missing chrome license light, special license mounting is included
Missing special hubcaps or wheel covers.
Missing rear bumper, front bumper included but bent. Front bumper currently is welded on, the Tux park bumper is separate. Could be front or rear I think.
Rear fender covers are in very bad shape, likewise original upholstery. This Jeep apparently had red upholstery which is included, but very poor. The black front seats & upholstery included is period correct however.
All the other Tux park stuff is there, some of the chrome is in poor shape. The hood emblems are included but not installed.
The factory column shifter was replaced by a floor shift.
I have the column shift and it has been rebuilt along with the matching steering box. I will include these at the asking price only.
