About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Your looking at a 1950 Willys Jeep in Mint Condition with a Brand New Motor (350), Cassette, Power Steering, 11 Inch Drums. This is also a custom with a PTO on the back for driving angle drive belt pulley. Located in Homedale and garaged…”
“Parting out a 48 Jeep, whole or parts I just need the front Differential. Everything is in pretty decent shape but the front floor have been patched, but not very well and probably need to be redone. The frame has been converted to use YJ springs. I believe the Dana 60 in the rear is out of a 76 Ford 3/4 ton truck and measures 67 inches wide WMS to WMS, and I believe it has 4.10 gears in it but I would have to double check.
This might have a slightly modified Porter & Reed hardtop, but I’m not certain of that.
“1948 Willy’s Jeep CJ2A. Have clear title. Disassembled but have all parts. Steel hard top. Frame and main parts stored in a storage container. Body is solid but ruff. Frame is good, axles, transfer, tranny engine are in good shape.”
“I have a Kelly All-Steel hardtop for sale. It came off of one of my CJ3b’s. It is not in perfect shape as you can tell by the pictures, but it is mostly all there and complete. It has the doors and rear hatch. Door handles work and the rear hatch handle works. Windows will roll up and down with help and could use some adjusting. All of the glass is there with the exception of the driver’s side door window is cracked and the rear hatch window is some type of plexiglass (not certain if that is original or not). There is a dome light inside the cab, but I am not certain if it works and is missing the cover.
There is rust, but it is solid. There are no holes through the cab from rust, but there are a couple screw holes from where someone had a CB antenna or something similar mounted to it. There could potentially be other small holes that I have not noticed. Please look at the pictures closely. I do not know much about the hardtops for the Willys jeeps.”
“1962 Willys CJ3B Jeep equipped with an early edition Fisher Snowplow. The plow tag reads “CAMDEN, Maine” rather than “Rockland, Maine” . This complete Jeep I used many years ago to plow, has sat neglected in my storage lot as a parts backup for my other CJ3B which recently sold. No parts were removed, but has not been started in 5 years. The body has much rust, the motor ran and drivetrain worked OK. NO BRAKES!! A very hard-to-find Jeep HY-LO hydraulic pump is used to lift the plow. If you are looking for a complete, very stock, high hood CJ3B, bring a trailer and winch, I need it gone. I can deliver, finance, maybe partial trade Willys, Aero, Mercury, Power King, Car Trailer, Hunting Item, or Try Me. Email for details or phone contact.”
Another interesting item in the 1957 Berg’s Truck and Parts Co (Aka the King of Jeeps) Catalog was this “Jeep King” hardtop advertisement, for both half and full-size tops. It looks like it’s a private branding of the Beck (or Kemco) Jeep Cabs, because the door has the split window. As far as I know, that wasn’t available on the Kelly hardtops manufactured by Kelly Manufacturing (which is the company Kemco became). Also, the Kemco had the small window on the half cab, as does the Jeepking half cab.
