About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

THE GUY THAT OWNED IT BEFORE ME SAID THE FLATHEAD WAS BLOWN SO HE DROPPED IN A 4 CYLINDER MOTOR AND PUT IN A HYDRAULIC CLUTCH. THE LINKAGE ON THE CLUTCH BROKE AND AS I WAS GOING TO PUT A FLATHEAD BACK INTO IT, I BOUGHT ALL NEW LIKAGE PARTS BUT FOR THE FLATHEAD. I DO HAVE A FLATHEAD FOR IT BUT HAVE NOT DROPPED IT IN YET. ALSO, THE TRANSFER CASE NEED REPLACING. MY WIFE SAID IT’S TIME TO GET IT OUT OF THE GARAGE SO MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN. FUN LITTLE DRIVING UNIT.L”

UPDATE: Dan now owns this Traveller. I didn’t know what a Traveller was when I first posted this in 2011.
(03/26/2011) “I have a 64′ willys wagon in excellent ORIGINAL condition. 230 tornado Straght six with a 3 speed tranny and 4×4. Excellent interior, motor runs great, 4×4 works great, almost new tires. Very nice willys. $5500 obo.”
“1951 Willys Jeep CJ3, powered by a 1966 Buick V6 engine. Three speed, lock out hubs. Most of it is original with exception of the engine and the seats. In decent shape but needs some TLC at this point. Hasn’t been started in a while but last time I used it it ran strong. Haven’t had time to do much with it over last two years and basically it’s just been sitting in the garage. Pretty much garage kept ’til about 3 weeks ago. Recently moved and decided to sell it ’cause storage space is now an issue. It has a title. Not looking to trade – just looking to sell. $3300 or best offer. ”
(02/09/2011) “1947 Willys Jeep CJ-2A 4 cyl L engine. (Rebuilt) Good running condition. New Battery, New Shocks, New gas tank, New Carbuerator & fuel pump. New floor, front & rear. Windshield frame restored, painted & new glass. Paint partially restored to primer coat. Restoration in progress. All original body parts. Pictures on request. Make an offer!”
“Own a piece of WWII history with a slight twist. 1948 Willys Jeep, very healthy 283 / automatic, crawling suspension, Trans cooler, Headers and 650 Holley, Large Mickey’s great for snow plowing. I have a snow plow to match that can be purchased. Jeep can be sold without plow only, not plow without jeep.”
(09/02/2010) This looks good, except for what appears to be some damage near the rear wheel on the driver’s side.
“Two wheel drive station wagon. 4 cylinder 3-speed with overdrive. New bronze glass, new brakes and wheel cylinders, new chrome wheels and tires. Runs great. Nice original Jeep. Doug”
(01/16/2011) This looks like a good little runner for a reasonable price. The body does have a few body patches.
“1959 Willys Jeep CJ5 with about 27,000 miles on the speedometer (speedometer was disconnected when I bought the Jeep). 3-speed with high/low range and 4×4. Has the front locking hubs. 12-volt system. Rebuilt starter motor and carburetor last week.
Wheels are 15 inch and in great condition with good Michelin 33×12.5 tires on them with good tread remaining. Previous owner invested over $900 in wheels and tires alone.
A few small rust spots under the paint and it is not a professional paint job but it looks good. The jeep does have a rust hole in the glove box and in the compartment under the passenger seat as well as some through the back bumper. There are metal plates screwed on across the back, in the bed, and on the front floors due to rusting of the original metal I presume. Some fiberglass repairs have been made on the back fenders also. Overall it is a very solid jeep.
It runs strong with no problems, starts and drives great. Previous owner took the glass out of the windshield frame. Needs turns signals, brake light wires connected,, and a windshield.
I have a top and two doors from a Humvee that I’ll include with the jeep. They are in good condition except for a hole in one of the plastic windows. They would need customizing to be able to be put on the jeep though.”
