About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(08/01/2012) Here’s a nicely pinstriped CJ-2A that looks in good shape.
“Very Clean 1948 Willy’s Jeep with milage unknown and the condition is great! The only thing that needs to be replaced is the brake light rear cover (retail price $39.00)”
Flint made this to look like a rustic old school bus.
“Mocked up to look like Silver City school bus! On 1970 wagoneer chassis with original dauntless 350 Buick. Has t-90 3sp and Dana 20. I have a t90, Dana 18, Koenig overdrive and pto winch combo to include for full price.
Willys has Dana 44 axles from 1964 j200 truck with 4.10 gears. New 34×15 swampers are very aggressive. Lots of custom work done to lift. Will consider trade plus cash for reliable wrangler or cj7. $6000. obo call or text
208-371-zero-8-two-six”
“RESTORATION IN 2009 WITH 10,156 MILES SINCE RESTORATION. REBUILT: ENGINE, BRAKES, FUEL SYSTEM, COOLING SYSTEM,
LOCK OUT HUBS, NEW PAINT, LEATHER SEATS, AND CANVAS TOP. THIS IS A DAILY DRIVER, RUNS EXCELLENT.
CALL 520-991-3984 FOR FURTHER DETAILS. PRICE $7,000.”
(08/15/2012) Here’s an unusual CJ-5. It appears to have been modified by the same people/person who created these other modified jeeps, an observation I’m basing on the top. Given the jeep is from Hesperia, there’s a very good change it is the same group. Note that the jeep was stored for more than three decades.
“Here’s my 1957 jeep, it was stored from around the late 70’s till 2010, still has the original california black plate, runs and drives great!!
paint, interior, and engine change where done around 1960, was owned and customized by a california car customizer in the fresno area
engine is a all stock 1960 283, has the original 4bbl carb, power pack heads, generator with power steering drive, runs perfect, very nicely installed, looks factory
“i have a 1954 Jeep Willys. it has a SBF V8 289 swap, 3 spd trans, the twin stick tansfercase with PTO lever. this thing has had tons of money put into it and all it need to be put on the road is a new radiator. it has really great treaded BFG Mud Terrain tires, upgraded interior, headers, holly carb, MSD Ignition System, newer soft top and doors, spare tire swing, winch mount, windshield mounted KC’s, tow bar, upgraded headlights and LED turn signals, this beast runs great and is fun but need to pay bills so it has to go. $3800 OBO OR POSSIBLE TRADE. ”
This looks in solid shape. It would be worth more with a standard paint job.
“1958 Jeep Willys FC170 4×4. Four wheel drive, 9 1/2 bed, runs great, drives great (not fast), clean title and street legal! (Sorry this is not a military vehicle)”
“1953 Willys Jeep, rock crawler and street legal, corvette 327 fuel injected motor; automatic chevrolet transmission, 3/4 ton chevrolet running gear, 37″ tires, bead lockers and wheels, chromali axles, front and rear lockers, winch front and rear, 4-wheel disc brakes, gas shocks, 4-link front and rear, aluminum fuel cell, 4 point harness, crush proof rear taillights, cowl induction hood, $16,000 OBO, will consider partial trade, located in Montgomery AL, (334) 300-0751”
