Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This highly modified MB has been floating around Facebook a few days. Listed as a 1941, it appears to be an MB of some vintage. Someone invested quite a bit of time with the mods, especially the door and top system. The fenders and bumper look to me like parts form a Philippine Jeepney.

“Hello, I am selling a hard to find 1953 Willy’s 3b for my grandpa. He has had the vehicle since the 70s and has been a great vehicle for him. He started to rebuild the vehicle a few years ago but then had some health complications. It has all the parts for the vehicle. He has some new parts like a new gas tank, and a Buick 238 V6 that was rebuilt 3 years ago. It has lived it’s whole life in the desert so it has minimal rust compared to more humid environments’
I’m not sure on the price, but there’s been quite a bit of customization to the CJ-2A.

Appears to have a Koenig hardtop. It has the Gov plate which should document the jeep was in the Forest Service.
