“Army jeep in great condition only 20,300 miles. Best offer above minimum. Buy now 15.000.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $9500. Thanks to Stephen for pointing out this is a CJ-3A not an M-38.
Looks in good shape. Missing a few minor parts.
“New parts have been added to include master cylinder, brake system, gas tank, tires, back seat, canvass top, $4,000.00 has been invested. It’s a 4 cylinder hurricane engine, includes new gauge’s. No accidents. It is in good condition. Front seat was done over but didn’t hold up, shows wear. ”
Seller has problems shifting the transfercase levers. They can be temperamental sometimes, especially without aftermarket front hubs.

“I am selling my 1948 Willys CJ-2A … It has always been a dream of mine to own a 40’s vintage jeep decked out in WWII fashion like this ever since I was a young man. I’ve had my fun with it, but now I am more concerned about needed garage space vs. having this. I will sell for the right price, but I certainly won’t give it away.
First and foremost, I do have a clean title to the vehicle. If you don’t follow these things that closely, that is a somewhat rare occurrence.
The jeep is in VERY good shape with very little rust and a body that is in great shape (original body, not a fiberglass version). Here’s what I’ve done to it since owning it:

“This is a 1952 Willys Jeep, its rust free and was redone to look like a military model. It runs great but needs some brake work. Im in the process of doing some brake work and if not it can be reflected on the final price. This is one tough durable jeep and they have a good history behind these jeeps. This jeep has been gerage kept after its restoration. Its in better shape than others that are asking thousands more. It also comes with a fitted cover.”
This militarized CJ-2A has disc brakes on all four wheels. This looks pretty solid.

“I did upgrade the brakes to all four disk brakes and change the 6 volt system to a 12 volt system. Other than those two items it is original.”
Runs.

“Great condition, no rust..original engine, restored a few years ago..alot of upgrades and changes..the original cj2a had the tire on the side..I moved it to the back to resemble a military version..added the military bumpers, lights, new hand made canvas top, and have the back end of the top to enclose the back..I have the military tires as well.its painted battleship gray, also.its been upgraded from a 6 volt system to a 12volt..we built custom mounts for the shovel and axe..it’s truly one of a kind..we also mounted the military handles and bumpers, gun mount on the dash.added a roll bar for safety and athstetics”
