This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. No engine or trany. Not a whole lot of parts value either.
“1958 Jeep/Willys DJ3A 2 wheel drive. Frame has been repaired and boxed. Tub is rough but serviceable, other body parts need minor work. Body tag and frame stampings match clear Texas title. All tires hold air for the smooth and easy flat tow to your place. This is a project (a roller) no engine or transmission, Don’t come looking expecting to drive it home. These accept everything from a big block to a four banger. No parts please.”

Has some parts value, just not sure how much.
“1956 Willys DJ3A flat fender Jeep. 2wd, 3spd. on the column. For parts, restoration or would make a great ratrod. Engine will turn by hand. Local sale only, will not ship. May deliver locally.”

It appears this is a CJ-3A with a DJ-3A body. Looks like a fun little rig. It is 2WD now.
“This 1951 Willys has been in the family for over 20 years. It’s a neat cruise around car perfect for parades. The complete driveline has been changed over to an early 90’s Ford Mustang. 4 cyc. motor-trans and rearend. The seats from the mustang were also used and reupholstered. This summer, we replaced all 4 tires and inner/outer tie rods. Possibly open to trades.“

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3950. Might have been a Pepsi Surrey.
Per Colin, 56337 18392 1960 DJ3A Yellow, floor shift, some modifications, bucket seats, chrome windshield grab bars, chrome front bumper. Could this have been a Pepsi Surrey? Very close to numbers of other Pepsi Surreys.
This is owned by Sherri and had the DJ featured in a magazine (Four Wheeler?). At some point, this jeep was stolen. It was returned to her in poor shape. It needs some restoration. (At least, that’s what I understand based on the text below).

I have owned 40 years originally restored (40 yrs ago) & was in magazines “jeep was stolen & left in a wash for few years” when I got it back I started to restore again! Was told 1945 registered & pink slip 1960.
Have original hubs W cromed, & more cromed parts for jeep!

Listed as a 1943, it looks like it has a DJ body. Chassis might be CJ.
“I have an old Jeep that is titled as a 1943 with the L-134 engine. Converted to 12 v, I put a new voltage regulator on it and the electronics are good, Starts right up and drives. Has Overdrive added as well and it does work. Title in hand.
I was going to use it as a desert toy for my girlfriend and I but in the end it is a little too primitive for what I had in mind. Has nice full back aftermarket seats, and a nice top.Comes with Dick Cepek spoke wheels with good tires on them, at least 80% tread left on them. Runs and drives but will need tail pipe added at some point. Gas tank has been moved to the rear. Will throw in new hydraulic jack and lug wrench as well.”
