These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1951 Willys CJ3A Military. Olds Spitfire V6 mates directly ot trans., new tires. This is a project. It was running 3 years ago before son dismanteled it.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $15,000.
“1944 Willys MB Jeep. $15,000.00 OBO, I bought in Jan 2005 in Arizona and Restored it from the ground up. It has a new tub. Engine is Rebuilt, T-84 is rebuilt. All new wiring, Generator, Starter etc…. All parts bought from Ron Fitzpatrick Jeep Parts, Beachwood Canvas and Besinger. I have put on Approx 5400 miles on it since restoration. It is titled and licensed in Nebraska. Insurtance runs me $114.00 a year. All light work. also included are some spare parts, tools, Jack, Crank, extra Gas and Water cans etc….”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500..
“A 1946 Jeep Willys. Fair Condition. Needs new spark plugs and possibly coil. Parts are easy to find and relativily inexpensive. Front bumper missing and bumper mount bent slightly. Good jeep, just not used anymore. Will negotiate.”

This looks like a pretty original CJ-3B in good shape.
“1953 CJ3B first year for the overhead valve engine. Engine rebuilt 3 years ago – minimal rust – runs great! “
Here’s a potential buyer.

This might be a fine parts jeep at the very least. I can’t tell if all the parts are really there or not.
“1942 Willys military jeep. I took this jeep apart because I was going to restore it frame up. It is taken apart in main pieces but all of the main parts are there and most of the small pieces. Motor is frozen from weather. All is inside except the tub which is not in good shape but can restored by someone with time and know how. I gave up on the project because it is to big for me and I just bought another jeep. Asking $700.00. Jason- 360-278-3470.”

It’s got some floor rust and the body has some dings.
“1947 WILLYS MODEL 2J2A -all original except 12 volt conversion. Solid body and frame but not with out some rust as pictured. 12 volt system all lights and gauges in working order. Original motor in good working order . Working 4 wheel drive with locking hubs. Tires on vehicle and spare in good shape. Extras included: two tires on rims, jerry can holder, tow bar.”

“47 willys rock crawler, chevy 350, turbo 350 tranny, dana 30 t case, dana 44 frount, 14 bolt int the rear, 9000 lb worn wintch, rollcage, 5 point harnes, truck advenger carb great for 4×4, 10in lift, 36 in super swampers 80% tread, lockers frount and rear, 5 13 gears, need to sell fast,”
This runs, drives and has a good body (according to the seller). This might not be a bad deal. It is still a project. I suspect it needs more than just the lights wired and paint.

It has only been driven a few miles as an occasionally. The jeep has great floors is amazingly solid.
