UPDATE: Was $350. **SOLD**
The seller writes, “We have been told that it is a Bantam TC-3 Jeep trailer circa 1946 , not military and we are asking $350 o.b.o. It is in Cambridge Wisconsin. We have had it about 9 years, bought it at a garage sale. It has been very reliable. It has newish tires. Our daughter painted it to make it look less ‘old’. We didn’t know what kind of trailer it was. We are returning to the UK so we can’t take it with us. The ‘Board’ is for the tailight. The Rope is holding on board and for tying down contents to be transported. Tailgate is in good condition except for one broken hinge. There is a slight distortion in the bed. Some rust but not significant.”
(09/08/2009) Here’s an early ’46 with the driver-side cutouts. It appears in very good shape. Nice looking shop, too.

“For sale: 1946 Willys CJ2A in good condition. Runs great and is driveable. has a rebuilt original carberator and a new fuel pump. New battery and cables. All the gauges work except gas gauge. Headlights and taillights work. This jeep is pretty much all original. It is titled in MN. Serial #78640. Jeep comes with a working factory PTO on the back (rare find). This would be a great jeep for someone who is looking for a project to restore. I bought this about 12 years ago an just don’t have the time to dedicate to it.”
