This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. These don’t appear very often. I’m not sure how easy, or not, they are to import into the US.
“This is a no-reserve auction for a super rare 1977 Mitsubishi Willys Jeep J54 Diesel right hand drive in Immaculate condition. It has a professionally installed dual tank fuel system which means it can run on diesel or vegetable oil. The system was professionally installed and runs exceptionally well. The Jeep also has new TA’s with less than a 1000 miles. The title is clear and clean. No rips or tears in the seats. No dents or body damage. Runs and drives excellent. Bikini top and doors included.”

(05/16/2010) These aren’t too common and this one looks nice. I think this is as good of price as you’ll find.
“This is a one of a kind! Mitsubishi right hand drive. This jeep was made in Japan. Street legal, with current tags and clean title. Good shape, runs great. F134 motor 4 cylinder. Great jeep for hunting & fishing in the back country. Brand new 8,000 lb electric winch. Half and full tops. 5 mud terrain tires with less than 1000 miles on them. Off road lights, 2 front and 1 rear. Three speed. If you want a 16 foot car trailer with it, add another $1,000 to price.”

“this is a willys jeep fc 170 4×4 runs drives but need a little tlc it is taged and has clear title motor is flat head six these are getting hard to find. i have to many projects so this one needs to go i am asking 1300.00 or best offer please email thrue craigslist and i will contact you back thanks for looking”

“1961 Willys Military jeep M38a1 Has a f-134 4 cylinder engine, runs good, 4×4 high and low all working has current tags and title, needs to be restored. $1800.00”

(06/10/2010) It looks like it has some updates, including a bobcat fiberglass hood and some diamond plating on the sides.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $5950.
The seller indicates the body is fine, but does have some dents. This is equipped with a saturn overdrive.
“Original Arizona vehicle. Second owner. 96k miles, original L6-226 flathead engine w/ Weber 38mm DGV carb, B-W T90 transmission, Dana 18 transfer case, Dana 25 front axle, Dana 44 rear axle, Warn-type (Saturn) overdrive, 4.27:1 axle ratio, SuperWinch front axle hubs, BFG 31″ All-Terrain Mud tires, Saginaw steering box, Rancho springs, electric and mechanical fuel pumps. Front axle, transmission, transfer case, and brakes recently rebuilt; very low mileage on new clutch and overdrive. Various other new or rebuilt parts on engine. This is a daily driver, not a show car. There are small dings in the body and the paint is average. The interior is functional, but needs a floor mat, new door panels, and windlace around the doors. Fuel gage and driver’s side door handle need to be repaired. E-mail for high-res pics.”
