I can’t remember seeing hurricane rims like this with the ribs extending into the bolt area.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay.
This is a no reserve auction that starts at $800. Note this has the dually connectors on the rear and the engine runs.
“1960 JEEP FC 170. DUEL WHEEL, ALL WHEEL DRIVE. 6 CYL. FLATHEAD 4 SPD. ENGINE RUNS, WAS RECENTLY USED AS YARD PLOW. 29,148 MILES. HAVE MANY EXTRA PARTS INCLUDING FRONT AND REAR CAB CORNERS. GOOD GLASS. HAS AFTERMARKET RADIATOR WITH COOLING FAN MOUNTED ON REAR OF CAB, SEEMS TO WORK FINE. PLEASE CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING AS VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS. ”
This has an unusual story. This was damaged in 1962 and never run again. It has 1,231 original miles.
“For Sale: 1961 willys CJ5. Has 1,231 original miles. It was hit in the rear in 1962 and never used again. The previous owner removed the damaged rear quarter, wheel well, back floor pan and tail gate and purchased OEM body parts, but never reassembled it. The Jeep has been stored inside since 1962. I have what appears to be the entire vehicle awaiting reassembly. The transmission and transfer case were opened by the original owner and are missing some parts along with having rust inside.
Although it has been hit and needs to be reassembled, it has no heavy rust or rust-through, only surface rust. The engine and axels are in tact and the chassis rolls.
You can view additional pictures via the following link. http://s888.photobucket.com/albums/ac82/Scott273/1961%20CJ5/ I am asking $1,000. You can e-mail me or call me between 7:00am and 9:00pm, 718-344-7152.”

UPDATE: I deleted the 2nd truck I had listed, as Bill correctly pointed out that it wasn’t a WC51 at all.
I’m helping someone value this WC52 WWII Dodge Truck. I’m pretty sure the WC52 runs (only just over 10,000 were made).
Here is a pic. If anyone can provide some feedback to me, just email me privately (d@ewillys.com).
WC-52:
Randy forwarded me an announcement that Bill Mauldin has been honored with a stamp, shown below.
According to the email Randy sent me, “Mauldin, and his work, meant much to the millions of Americans who fought in World War II, and to those who had waited for them to come home. He was a kid cartoonist for Stars and Stripes, the military newspaper; Mauldin’s drawings of his muddy, exhausted, whisker-stubbled infantrymen Willie and Joe were the voice of truth about what it was like on the front lines.”
Here is a pic of the stamp, followed by Mauldin in a jeep.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2750. It includes a top. Looks like a great price. Brett noted that the seller updated the listing because the overdrive was incorrectly listed as a PTO.
