This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Classic 1954 Willy CJ3B. Extraordinary Condition. High hood, “F” head engine, full roll bar, power steering, tilt steering wheel, oversized and vacuum assisted brakes, tow package, Warn wench, new tires. Well cared for vehicle. Serious callers only. Will not respond to e-mail. $5,800.00.”
UPDATE: **SOLD**
(10/22/2009) “1958 FC 150 4×4 runs and drives earlier restoration, some rust. This FC Vin Number: 65548 15542 California Lic. Non Op. It has the original hurricane 134 4 cylinder runs well as does the Warner transmission and transfer case, the interior has non original seats, the passenger side glass is broken, there is a slight crack in windshield, and the doghouse has been cut slightly. The counter weight is intact, tires are worn, break master leaks and needs replacement.
This looks like a solid rig.

“1943 Willys Jeep for sale. Engine No. CJ2A40130B (Engine No. 283773 removed in 1955), Serial No. 20471694. Purchased in Germany 1948 and kept in family ever since – have all documentation. Body in poor condition, no front glass, no upper body. Engine and other mechanicals believed to be complete. Both doors restored and in good condition. Last ran 30 years ago. My father died before he got to this project. First $100 takes it away. Buyer responsible for removal costs.”

This appears solid. If it has been doing a lot of plowing, i would check those front frame rails.
“1950 Willy Jeep CJ3A. Runs and drives awesome. Decent tires, 4wd works perfect. (Blows right throug 12+ inches of snow!) I have had the jeep for over a year. I bought it and put a new water pump on it. It has a rebuilt engine in it. Pulled the motor when we pulled the transmission to inspect. Transmission full service and seals. Still a flathead 4. It was sitting in a barn in Cedar Falls since 1982. Minimal rust in the floors where the wood brace got wet and ate out the support and floor. New master cylinder, Wheel cylinders and brake shoes. Partial new exhaust and new correct muffler. Civilian Jeep that was originally greyish blue…I bought it orange and painted it with camo green. Fun little jeep to drive around. Only reason for sale is losing storage at the end of the fall. Let me know if you have any more questions. 3000 OBO.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500. Sears / Meyers hardtop.
This has a few updates. I can’t tell for sure, but their might be some rust along the driver’s side.
