UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500
“A long family history with a short ending brings this ole Jeep for sale. Foregoing the story, this Jeep has been significantly worked over to restore and improve reliability, a show Jeep was never part of the plan.
Overview: Original 4 banger flat head engine overhaul (has about 50 miles since), transmission tune-up and seals, brakes, 12 volt conversion, frame mounts, wiring harness, paint top and bottom, and several other miscellaneous pieces, parts, and repairs. Pretty much stock bumper to bumper.
It runs well, rides and drives like the Jeep that it is. Considerably more invested than asking, clear title and yes, the Jeep can is part of the deal.”
This is a nice looking rig.
“1948 Restored Willys Jeep. 350 Small block. Muncie Rock Crusher 4 speed. Great Condition. Our dad was a Willys Jeep enthusiast. He rebuilt 50+ Willys Jeeps in his lifetime. He rarely drove this jeep the past 10+ years due to health limitations. The jeep has always been stored in a garage. The top is like new and includes doors. The jeep has a full roll cage that is welded into the body. Comes with an extra windshield and a hood that has a hood scoop and stripes that match the striping on the jeep. The hydraulic clutch has a leak and the gas gauge doesn’t work. There are a few small chips around the door channels where you get in. Other than that the jeep is in fine running condition. A extremely nice vintage vehicle that will provide someone with a lot of fun.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1695.
This appear solid.
“1946 Willys Jeep w/PTO winch. Fix and use it, or many good parts Seems too good to just part out, has great potential to be complete.
Motor seems sound, 3speed transmission needs some work. Functions, but not correctly. PTO winch works good.”
It could use paint, but otherwise seems solid.

“i’m selling a 1952 flat fender jeep …7,000 invested welcome for offers..will consider trade as long as same value (like truck, car, zero turn mower(((((EQUAL VALUE)))))”
The body is supposed to be in good shape.
“1954 Willy,s CJ3B. Original, complete, does not run. No top. Spun a rod bearing about 10 years ago and has set since. Head is pulled, but all parts there for the original 4 cylinder engine. Brakes shot, needs brake and wheel cylinders. Transmission worked when it was running, but will not shift now as there was no trans boot. No PTO or winch. Now the good. The body is in decent shape for the age has some typical rust and older repairs It has 5:38 gears from the factory. Comes with a front tow bar, but probably should be trailed home. 3 tires hold air, the 4th will long enough to get it loaded. I will provide a bill of sale and the original title that I never submitted to the state to get transferred. I will include a original repair manual. I have to many projects and will never get to this one. A good project jeep for less than the price of a replacement tub. $1000.00 cash firm. Located in Chanute, Ks. Call 620-212-3205”
Not a real good start at all on a ‘vintage army jeep’, but a fine start on a civilian jeep.

So is that thing attached to the hood?
“1946 Willys CJ2A. Runs and drives really good, has a 350 V8, Seats, and Steering column out of a 1969 Camaro. It also has the saginaw steering conversion so it’s nice and stable at highway speeds. It has a chevy 3 speed manual transmission and it is currently 2 wheel drive with a straight axle up front. Unlike most jeeps of the era, this one has a real tall rear gear so it’s more than capable of going 70 miles an hour (it’s only turning 2500 rpms at that speed!). It has new tires, radiator, distributor, battery, gas tank, plug wires, all new brakes (master cylinder, wheel cylinders, shoes, and brake lines). The frame has been fully boxed in so the jeep can handle all the extra power of the V8. The engine has an Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap intake manifold and an Edelbrock 600 CFM 4 barrel carb. Since its really light, it gets 18 mpg which isn’t bad for a carburated V8. It comes with a Tiger Top that’s in pretty good shape, with one small slit in the roof that shouldn’t be too hard to repair.
Now for the bad, the outside is really rusty. The wheel wells are the worst, and are pretty rotted. I’ve welded in new metal to patch the floorboards, and I then coated the floors with 3 coats of POR15 and 3 coats of Rhino-Liner to keep them from rusting again. The frame and underside are actually in great shape and pretty much rust free. This would be a great candidate for a rat rod, or you can buy a whole new steel or fiberglass body and make it look great! I’m moving into an apartment for my new job, so all the toys need to go. It comes with an extra hood and grill. I’m asking $1500, no trades. Call 563-650-1965 if interested!”
