This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. THIS IS A NICE WILLYS JEEP IM NOT AN EXPERT ON THIS BUT LOOKS LIKE ITS IN GOOD CONDITION , ENGINE RUNS AND HAS A CURRENT TEXAS STICKER AND CLEAR TITLE , I TOOK PICTURES SO U CAN SEE THE EXTERIOR CONDITION AND ENGINE COMPARTMENT, WILL BE SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRENTY, WHAT U SEE IS WHAT U GET THANKS FOR LOOKING.”

(08/17/2010) This is mostly stock.
“1946 Willys Jeep CJ2A 4×4. This jeep is almost complete original, including the motor, transmission, transfer case, and axles. This is a cool little toy, or a great start on a restoration project. It runs like a sewing machine, and will climb, go through or go around anything. It is 64 years old and in good condition for its age. Must take a ride to appreciate. Serious buyers only, cash, and no trades.”

(08/17/2009) Here’s a later ’46 CJ-2A with some updates.
“1946 willys cj2a with V6 buick motor. All stock running gear with WARN OD and hubs. Chevy steering box and column Needs lights hooked up and carb work. Motor runs great, just hesitates on acceleration. Soft top, great roll bar, deep tread on tires. Registered NON op presently. 209-613 -9727=llItrade VW baja, Sandrail, VW buggy, other vehicles possible but must be pre smog.”

UPDATE: Price dropped to $1000
(05/18/2011) This is listed as a 1948 CJ-2A, but it has a DJ-3A bumper and body at the very least. It might be on a CJ-2A frame, as it does have 4wd.
“I have a 1948 Willy’s that I am forced to part with after putting lots of effort into it. The VIN plate is good and therefore easily titled. I can provide a Bill of Sale.
The front and rear end were totally rebuilt with new gears, seals and bearings. The engine runs strong after a tune up, and newly rehabbed starter. All cylinders have good compression. Clutch is functions enough to move the Jeep around the yard as you can see. So considered it drivable enough to get it up on a trailer under its own power.
The body is the problem. Not shown is the hood in standard condition. The center seam needs work. But the hood is included. The floors are gone.”

“This is a Arizona jeep, soft top engine rebuilt,no oil burn or leaks. all tires slimed 3 speed with overdrive 4 wheel drive with creeper. All orginal except converted to 12 volt. No rust, no body work. Painted with scratch proof paint. Farmers jack, stowmaster tow bar, and 8,000lb winch.
It has some dings and dents, but appears complete and solid.
