1966 CJ-5 Lynn, MA **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: CJ5 This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was $1500

(04/13/2011) How about that unusual hard top?  This might be a good price given some work was just done on it.

“For sale we have our 1966 Jeep Willys CJ5. We bought this last fall to plow our office parking lot but with all the snow we had this year we realize it is just too small for our needs. We did a bunch of work to it to get it yard worthy and it is a great little plow truck. It has a 4 cylinder F-Head 134 ci engine and a 3 speed manual transmission. It is four wheel drive with Warn locking hubs and high and low range. It has a 6 foot manual angle plow on it. We also have soft doors for it which are not shown in the pictures.

It has four brand new BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires (size LT215/75R15)

New Master Cylinder and front brake lines

New Battery

We had the radiator dipped, painted and soldered to repair a leak

We’ve already done the work to get this truck up and running as a plow truck so here’s your chance to make it easy on yourself. The odometer shows 18k miles. We were told by the guy we purchased it from that this was originally owned by a utility company in Vermont, so the mileage could be accurate, however we are assuming it has rolled over. Jeep is sold with a bill of sale only. We have no title. It will need to be trailered or towed away, it is not roadworthy.”

• CATEGORIES: CJ-3A • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE:  Was priced at $4800.  Status unkown.  This has lots of updates and was featured in 4 Wheel and Off-Road Magazine.

“1950 Jeep Willys. This Jeep is an excellent off-road and cruiser for around town. It has a Buick 225 odd-fire with a T-98 transmission and a Dana-18 transfer case. It has a set of narrowed Dana-44 axles front and rear with a ARB locker in the front and a Detroit locker in the rear, both with 4.88 gears. The rear axle has a full float conversion as well as chromoly shafts. The Jeep also has a new gas tank, so their are no rust issues. The engine has a Griffin radiator. Also new Maxxis 35×12.50R15 Bighorns with less than 500 miles on them. It has a power steering gear box that has already been tapped for Hydro-assist as well as a frame brace. The Jeep rides on “fiberflex” leaf springs that give it a really good ride quality as well as flexibility! !!!”

1953 M-38A1 Custom Bucks County, Pa eBay

• CATEGORIES: M-38A1 • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Here’s a highly modified M-38A1 spotted by Tommy.

“1953 WILLYS JEEP. Custom built with 350 Chevy V8 and 350 Turbo Transmission. The front end is from a later CJ model. The frame and tub look very clean and show very little wear and no rot. This vehicle has only been driven approx 2,400 miles since the engine/trans were installed and it was repainted in PPG bright red. It also has independent coilover suspension in the front, so the ride isn’t punishing. It has 20 inch chrome wheels with nice tires, a dual exhaust system, and custom guages. The previous owner also had a local Jeep fanatic shop make a custom soft top with soft doors (see pics). This Jeep turns heads and is fun to drive.”

1947_cj2a_redmondUpdate:  **SOLD** Was $3500

(07/20/2009) Now that’s an unusual hood scoop!  The rest of the jeep looks in great shape.

“1947, it’s 60 years old and obviously has some surface rust but in very good condition for it’s age. I have personally put a lot of time into this vehicle, last year i drove it to work in downtown bend daily for six months. Starts in any weather and drives very well for a vehicle this old; The fuel pump is starting to burn out slightly but the Jeep still drives as is. w Is not restored! Engine is a 1950 ford Flathead V8 with a 3 speed ford transmission. Call or email available all weekend if you want to see”
