This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I’m listing my 1942 Ford GPW WWII Jeep. It was a complete frame off restoration. There may be 2000 miles on a complete rebuild motor. It’s coming all set up for the winter months. It has an early made Arctic top made just for the WWII jeeps, and I’ve installed a heater for the cold winter days. The drivers seat os adjustable so that big guys can drive it. I’m 6’5″ and would have had to drive with the steering wheel imbedded in my stomach. It has 4 brand new 600×16 military tires on it. A new paint job and a spare gas can that is dated 1942 to match the year of the Jeep. I’m asking $9000 to me it’s worth much more but with the economy the way it is I thought I would be realistic. If you’ve gone to any Car shows around southern maine you’ve seen this jeep with a big machine gun on it. NO the gun doesn’t go with it.”
There is some value and it looks pretty bone stock. I think it has a rear PTO.

This appears solid, as the seller claims, but is not “bonestock unmolested” “all original except engine”. A cursory glance shows the gauges have all been replaced, it’s got updated rear lights, an aftermarket turn blinker, it’s got turnout hubs, the dash has minor mods, it looks to have been changed to 12 volts, and the bumper area is non stock. My biggest concern would be the lack of real protection on the intake; you can see a simple screen has been attached with a clamp.
“1945 GPW Military Ford Jeep. All original except engine. Motor is a 4 cylinder L head engine off a later model jeep. 3 speed manual. Bonestock unmolested otherwise. Has a 8274 Warn Winch. No rust, no bondo. Never wrecked or rolled. Own a piece of U.S. military history. Runs and drives great. A running, driving, roadworthy daily driver. Clear title in hand. Very rare. Windshield pops out and collapses.”

“For-Sale 1946 Willys CJ2a Jeep W/Trailer. This Jeep was my father’s retirement project. It’s all original, transmission shifts good, runs good. Everything works. Has a white vinyl top, also has the rear bench seat. The only issue is the brakes, it has a nice high brake pedal but doesn’t stop very good. The trailer is painted to match the jeep. The trailer has a hand brake which works good also. The tires on the Jeep are good. I even have the original 600-16 tires for it”

“Very nice jeep, runs and drives, needs tune up, looks great, has a 327 chevy in it, 4 wheel drive, high and low gears, 3 speed trans. New low price, must sell, bring all offers, lets deal. ”
This has some mods, but hard to tell just how much.

“We have a 1969 Jeep CJ Camper They only made 336 of these I have found on the internet there only a hand ful of them left. they are rare as hens teeth. this a V6 engine with a three speed trans. It needs a complete restoration as you can see from the pics. it is being sold on a Bill of sale only it looks to be about 95% complete we do see it is missing some hub caps/ gear shifter knob/ some camper parts/ It did run when parked any questions please call me my name is Dannon”
This includes an overdrive. Get it while it lasts.
“Selling what I believe is a 1946 CJ-2A Willys Jeep. This has a Ford V-8, 11 inch brakes, 3 speed, Dana model 18 2 lever transfercase, Warn Overdrive, stock front and rear end. Now as you can see…there are some issues, rust, no seats, no windshield, no tailgate, no radiator and more. The Jeep has not run in quite some time……15-20 years.
